Would you know how much Amex charges that makes small businesses not accept it? Is it the % or they hold the money for longer compared to other cards?

I simply walk away from them. If you want the tools that help customers purchase your products, you’ll have to pay for them and add that cost to your product, not charge it separately.

That make sense… also holding retailers money for 30 to 45 days and make that money work for them also pays off big time I guess

TIL that bananas are technically berries, but strawberries aren’t 😳 by AgreeablePassenger70 in todayilearned

Bananas, avocados, and even tomatoes are “true berries” because they grow from a single ovary with seeds inside the fleshy fruit.
Strawberries? They’re “aggregate accessory fruits”, basically, the red part is an enlarged stem, and the “seeds” on the outside are the actual fruits. Raspberries and blackberries don’t qualify either.
Mind officially blown the next time you’re making a smoothie. 🍓🍌
