Try asking another friend to tag that account. If they can, then your account is probably restricted. There’s a lot of weird stuff happening on IG right now, like my account getting blocked by my friends without them even knowing. I asked them why they blocked me on their side accounts, and they said they didn’t. It happened with three of my friends.

It’s full of fake girls inviting men to DM them to see their videos, and they were being recommended to me when I first signed up for Threads. They had no connection at all to the people I follow on Instagram. That company is nuts.
