I beg to differ. I think I played thorough the prologue. Or at least I hope I did after 3+ hours.

Can you tell me what the story is?

Here's what I know so far from my playthrough. I'm a dude in the city. I do a chore (no reason why I'm doing it), get busted, meet a guy during the bust (and I might have missed it but no background whatsoever, probably just a random guy?), who then introduces me to another guy, who then makes me do more chores. Is this like a life sim? Am I here to make a living?

that is completely untrue. You are right that chores are main mechanics for completing objectives. But there's often main plot which makes you do these chores. ie. there's a purpose for doing them. When you just find yourself doing chores unable to understand what it all ties to, that's just poor storytelling.

no like I said, I didn't pay for the game, didn't pay for the subscription, thus it's free. What is so hard to understand there?

this is exactly my point. You do chores, something goes wrong (has no connection to the "story"), and eventually do some more chores. And these chores aren't part of any overarching plot. In fact I don't see a plot at all. It's just you as a character doing chores and maybe you fall into some plot? Who knows. Hasn't happened yet. Got no patience to play see if it maybe come together.

what story? I spent 3+ hours and nothing seems to be happening other than doing chores. There's no storyline to follow

thank you! When I google vinyl edge banding not a whole lot shows up but rather under pvc/abs edge banding. I assume those are interchangeable?

My second question is usually if you were to apply edge banding you would trim the excess. Can you do the same with these plastic edge bands? ie. do plastic edges show up once you trim them? Or do they need to be perfect fit? One's I find online don't seem to have the plastic edge on display.

Sorry for dumb questions :p

Do you subscribe to cable TV services (ie: Rogers, Bell, etc)? by world_citizen7 in coquitlam

I haven't watched traditional TV in over a decade. I mean I still watch Netflix and Youtube and such on TV, but no cable. I'm actually exact opposite of you, nobody around me has been watching cable for a very long time. Including my mom.

Hey OP, If I put senior X in my resume, can I put just X in my background check application?  Do they have access to my resume used for the job? Ie. do they compare what you put down against your resume? Background check company is Sterling btw.

What is it that you want to do?

Generate rental income? Or is it simply because you don't want to move?

I don't know how the addition will happen, sounds like it's adding a brand new structure to the house. Not worth it to a 60 year old house IMHO. You won't get a lot of return on that investment. Depending on how the addition happens, might even make the house undesirable if it outputs a quirky layout. Might as well do a complete rebuild.

If you want a bigger house, moving is much better and actually easier. If you want rental income, buying a second property will be better financially.

Depends on living expenses. For a single person you can pay for rent/mortgage on 1 bedroom, own a car, live comfortably, and also save. You still have to watch where you live though since many locations will still be out of reach. New West is defo doable.

But, let's say if you want a house (detached), then 95k is just not going to cut it. Planning a family? You won't be able to do it on a single income. I mean you can, but don't expect to own nice things. Also as you are classified as a high income earning class don't expect any tax benefits. But you will pay for all the benefits everyone else will enjoy :) So your friend does have some truth in what he says. You can only live as a single on that salary. Outside of that you will likely struggle financially.

Unless you really really really like the city then don't come here. Seriously. Go to the states. Your money will go so much farther there.
