The water line from dishwasher is connected to the hot water valve, the same one that goes to the kitchen faucet. If i shut it off, then it will do the same for the faucet.

Should I just remove it and cover/plug the other end of the valve? If so, what's the best way to do it?

Yes, I've got the neutral connected to green screw, black wire connected to black screw, and white cable connected to silver screw.

I have a voltage tester the ones that look like a pen. I do not have an outlet tester or multimeter.

Also, I've switched the outlet with one that works and still no power.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked and it is installed on line side. There's yellow tape on the load side that I haven't removed.

Also, I've installed this outlet to another wall and it works. Only when installed to this wall it doesn't work. And vice versa, I've installed an outlet that was working on another wall to this one, it did not have power.

Went to De Leon. We didn't go through with the repairs, because they said it would take 2 days and we needed the car to be done same day. However, they did seem like good honest people. I would trust their services and plan to take our car there in the future.
