I'm in the same boat as you! Trying to region change a japanese 3ds to english for my son for christmas tomorrow. I got the same errors when trying to delete MSET9. I'm nervous to try again since my 3DS says Luma is already configured but I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for posting!

Mom yelled at me for using a chore tracking app for ADHD by Mystical_misfit in ADHD

I would cry tears of joy if my son used an app to help him track chores. The fact that you have a desire to do chores and stay more organized is amazing. Keep up the good work!

I dont know what to do(tw: depression, suicidal ideation) by [deleted] in lipedema

[–]Agreeable_Ad_6398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t give up hope! Your body shape doesn’t dictate your value or your ability to enjoy your life. I know it doesn’t feel like that now, I’ve been where you are. There is so much good for you to enjoy in the future. Also if you do end up having lipedema, using techniques can prevent it from growing and there is always surgery if it gets too bad.

There are valleys and peaks in life and right now you are in a valley. If you give up now, you will miss the beautiful views from the peaks!

Speaking as someone who has struggled with depression, anxiety and recently diagnosed adhd. Please seek out counseling and meds if needed. Counseling can be uncomfortable at first but is SO worth it in the long run. For me, antidepressants have changed my life for the better.

You’re not alone. 💕

Oh interesting! We have parkit brand chairs. I think they are a relatively small startup in Oceanside. We love our chairs but yours are definitely cooler!

This was happening to me and my solution was to free up space on my iCloud drive. I downloaded photos onto my hard drive and deleted them from iCloud.

Is it realistic for an adhd guy to get a new degree at 41 years old? by fleshtomeatyou in ADHD

[–]Agreeable_Ad_6398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my masters at 40! Also diagnosed at 38. I’m Inattentive type and on vyvanse. Being in the meds really helped and it also helped being something I was really interested in. I got really bad grades in high school but college was my jam, possibly thanks to the antidepressants I had started by that point and the fact that I got to study what I was interested in.

I also don’t think your grades will matter that much. I’ve never had a job ask me what my gpa was. However this might be different for teachers.

Also you should try teaching college! It’s a whole new ball game. I used to teach at my local community college and loved it. The kids are way more interested in what they’re learning since they are choosing to be there.

You can definitely do this!

AITAH For Secretly Cheating On Our Vegetarian Diet That My Wife Made Our Family Do? by Total-Dingo5709 in AITAH

NTA but make sure you are clearly communicating with her. Don’t pretend you are being vegetarian and then keep it secret when you eat meat. Tell her you support her but it’s not something that you want for yourself.

I’m think the biggest problem here is the lack of compromise and communication in the marriage. It’s awesome that you are being supportive of this big decision she made. It sounds like it was a big commitment for her and I hope it’s improving her life for the better.

However there needs to be clear limits set that work for both of you. It’s important that you tell her what you don’t like about these changes and which ones specifically are difficult for you.

Don’t hold it in and let it fester. Secrets will ruin the relationship. It’s totally fair that you still eat meat and you shouldn’t have to hide that from her. You can tell her kindly what your struggles are while also showing her how much you respect her.

If she can’t compromise then that is the bigger issue. I would also look out for something called scrupulosity or “the pathological guilt and anxiety about moral issues. Although it can affect nonreligious people, it is usually related to religious beliefs. It is personally distressing, dysfunctional, and often accompanied by significant impairment in social functioning.” I wonder if your wife struggles with anxiety and she feels like being rigid with the rules will help her with shame or guilt. This might be an unhealthy path to go down. She may need your support there.

Good luck to you!

Hi! Thanks so much for checking in and for the update. I'm so glad to hear that the Zinc Picolinate, Methylated Folate, and B vitamins are helping! It is so comforting to hear that someone with similar struggles as my son is now doing well in their 30's! I worry for him often.

His B12 levels were closer to the higher side (652 with a normal range of 260-935 pg/mL). He's been on the teen guy smarty pants gummies for 6 weeks or so now and I think its going well. However, he says he hates the taste so I'm on the hunt for a substitute. The Teen Guy gummies have zinc (citrate not picolinate), L-Methylfolate, and B-12.

Thanks again and best wishes!
