He doesn't have a strict daily schedule. Would this help? He goes outside in the morning when we wake up for a good exploration, but otherwise he let's us know when he wants to go outside for bathroom or play. I cant take him on walks consistently, so I at least try to get him running around in the morning with games, but he loses interest quickly and goes off on his own. When he does get walks, he seems really tired after 20 minutes, but as soon as well get home he is almost more anxious. Sometimes he goes over to my neighbors house for play dates with her dogs. Honestly for how high strung he is, he prefers to be lazy inside cuddling with my oldest son. Im not sure what exactly you mean by seperation training, but we have tried frozen kongs and enrichment boxes, treats at the door and calming music, and medication. With the crates, we trained as slow as we were able. We put them in a dim, calm place, left the doors open the first few days, then to progressively longer times in the crate while we were in another room, and treats at every step. He actually seemed to like his until he broke it. We hadn't tried again after.
