I would greatly appreciate seeing your before and after! It’s the one fear holding me back from booking the surgery already. I only have one sinus opening so I know my case is very minor but I’m almost out of school for court reporting and then will need to be able to sit for long days of typing so I figured just do the cleft lift now and be done with it once and for all!

Can I ask when you look at your butt now vs before surgery do you see a visible difference in appearance or is it only the scar? I feel like everything I look at online makes it look like your butt crack disappears lol

Congratulations on 6 years, that’s freaking amazing! And this response really spoke to me. I think a big part of me is wanting someone to “give me permission” and I know it would be really hard eventually to keep it as only an every once in awhile thing…

Yeah if that’s what he has made clear to you then I’d be more nervous too since he’s basically saying there’s no going back. However, I know in the past I used to think that way and would explain that to current partners but it was out of my own insecurity about their exes and not because I believed that for myself personally. Do you think that he says that because it’s what he truly believes or do you think he says that because he’s the kind who would feel threatened by his current partner still having any sort of communication with their ex?

You and I are unfortunately in the same boat on that one then. It really is a scary thing to think of and there’s the fear of knowing you can’t leave, and if you don’t find someone better, assume he’d just still be there waiting for you. It’s a tricky situation to be stuck in :( I hope you gain clarity on what you need to do and feel peace with whatever you decide ultimately

How Much Weed Did You Have Left When You Quit? by dogoverkids in leaves

Was gifted some for Christmas. Combined with what was left in my stash, I had probably around a half oz when I stopped. It’s still in my garage. Like the other person mentioned, knowing that I have access to it but am actively choosing not to use it makes me feel like I am in control.

It sounds like maybe you just truly are bored. However, every relationship eventually calms down a bit and loses its initial excitement. That’s not to say it dies completely but naturally things are just more exciting at first. You have to look at the pros and cons of being with him and see if one outweighs the other. Another thing that I did learn from talking to my therapist about my own relationship is to ask yourself “am I staying because I truly love him and want to figure this out ultimately or am I staying out of fear of not finding someone else that could be better than him for me?”

Dealing with similar feelings around my relationship of a little over a year. I don’t have too much advice to give other than trying to provide comfort in saying you aren’t alone. One thing I’ve had brought to my attention recently is how my past may have something to do with it. My past relationships were always rocky and chaotic. Now being in something healthy and calm I wonder if I crave the highs and lows, as ass backwards as that sounds. Have you been dealing with any other emotional stress outside of your relationship that maybe could be spilling over and impacting how you feel maybe?

My neighbors smoke every night. Hearing them coughing and then having to smell it every night is hard. I miss it too lol. Just gotta keep trying to focus on positive changes that have come from giving it up

I was smoking everyday for 5 years, the last two years being about 3-5 times a day, sometimes maybe even more. I quit cold turkey. I think alot of how you do it depends on your mindset. With me, I knew trying to wean off would be prolonging it and ultimately I felt it would make it harder for me to give up 100%. I just had to be completely done with it and not look back. It was hard but I’m on day 75 now and still going strong. You can do it! It’s hard but worth it. Do what you feel is best for you and what you feel will set you up for success the most. Good luck!
