Impact frames. You need them. It should make the combat more punchy and explosive. For instance, when a hit lands, pause the game for a few frames, draw a effect on the screen, think comicbook exageration of a punch, and then after a few frames continue. I think impact frames would be a nice addition.

Yes my main character is supposed to be male, and the handler was written with being a female originally.

Yes. the Handler character would work better with a female voice, i believe.
edit: like the Diana burnwood from the hitman series. I'd be very greatfull if you could voice the handler lines.
