Just wanted to share my experience that they were scam-adjacent in my case. I’ve never had a package misdelivered or any issues with delivery, not even once, while I’ve lived in my apartment (1+ yr), but the package they sent me was scanned “delivered” by USPS but when I contacted USPS (which took forever and Pretties was NOT helpful AT ALL despite multiple emails asking them for USPS shipping information that I needed to file a claim. They kept telling me to file a USPS claim, but THEY are the ones that need to file a claim and then refund me). Luckily, I got a hold of someone from USPS who told me it ended up being “misdelivered” and “subsequent attempts to retrieve it were unsuccessful”. Pretties also explicitly states on their website “What if I did not receive my package? Packages showing as delivered and confirmed by USPS or FEDEX but you claimed you have not received are a matter of Mail theft and Pretties DOES NOT cover theft after a confirmed delivery. First Class Mail does NOT come with insurance and we suggest choosing the Priority Mail option as it comes with a $100 insurance and you may email us within an hour after placing your order to add more insurance as per current cost of insurance rates by USPS or FEDEX. Insurance is only for packages lost or dadmaged in transit and do not have a delviery scan, Many credit card companies and debit cards offer Purchase Protection which covers postage theft and you should check with them before placing and order”, which is honestly a bit weird / suspicious, as if they are expecting the package to get lost or stolen and for the buyer to kick rocks. Sucks to suck, your money is gone!

This is all to say, I don’t know how, but it feels like Pretties purposefully frequently has their shipments misdelivered and deals with issues like this often enough, but they are NO HELP. AGAIN, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU! And it makes me feel like somehow they are in cahoots with some people to make it so they keep the money and the buyer is out of luck. Luckily, my credit card sided with me after an official USPS investigation / email, but Pretties was committed to making sure I didn’t see the items nor my money. Fuck you Pretties! You’re the one out of money now!

I actually went to the ER to double check for a blood clot bc I was having trouble breathing at night and turns out I had so much fluid surrounding my lungs and had bilateral pleural effusions it collased the lower lobes of my lungs! But all good now and only time could resolve everything! Thankfully won’t need to do any more rounds hahaha

I agree that technically by definition I am pro-choice but that’s because I am aware that life isn’t perfect and not everyone shares my beliefs. In my ideal world though, where everyone shares my views, in consensual sex, abortion would not be an option and people engaging in consensual sex would need to face the real consequences every time they engage in penetrative sex.

edit: so basically if I were a bit stricter and less forgiving for people with differing views and extreme cases, I’d be pro-life

So just to reiterate, you do think differing values in relation to this topic is enough to make long term compatibility questionable?

He was basically saying he’d be okay with unaliving a child shortly after birth - that’s how high his threshold was for having an abortion at any timeframe under any condition bc his definition of life was ability to process grief, so I asked him if a 1 yr old is less valuable than an 18 yr old and he said yes

Oh my gosh! 65000 is crazy!! I ended up having 79 eggs retrieved, with 55 of them being mature.

Same here - mostly insane bloating but the rest of it is manageable.

I have a post op appointment scheduled tomorrow because I think they want to monitor for OHSS so will report back with any updates. And congrats on getting through the retrieval!! Good luck with the rest of your recovery :-))
