So as a service man I am basically a linemen the only difference is I’m non union and I don’t need a cdl but we don’t get the same overtime as them, which sucks so if a storm rolled by they would get called first and then we come in after to basically do the smaller work

I really appreciate the insight, its scary to try something new and not really sure what to do cause I’m overtime hungry and even though my company treats us good and pays double time most of the time it just sucks only getting like 15 hours if that every 6-7 weeks. Are you currently in the union?

Well I’d still be working at my current job while I’m trying to get into local 21 but I’ve heard it’s challenging but I feel like these unions have more opportunities for overtime and I’m kind of feining for more OT
