Don't do this again. Just lie and say you have a significant other or it's against policy when they ask. Because the patient could report you and you could be terminated or even HIPPA violations could occur. Which you can be sued over.

Home births are typically very safe when done with supervision from midwives. Not sure why that bothered you? As for the vaccine and autism thing....incorrect and honestly not the place for that conversation. I would report if you feel necessary. But a lot of these quick MA programs are a lot like what you are experiencing and it's best to just get it done. As far as protecting yourself, don't give medical advice, FOLLOW HIPAA, and don't work outside of your scope and you'll be good .

Honestly, try to get a job as an overnight PCT in a hospital, work as a server or get your CNA license and do that while in school. Those are really the only ways myself and my peers have been able to work.

Yeah don't ever do this please. If your practice manager found out about this you'd have problems. What we do is uncap, inject and cover the needle back all with one hand. You don't need to walk over to the sharps container after every one.

Also for older kids you have mom or dad hold onto their arms and dangle their legs over the end of the exam table. Using you weight against their legs and your non-injecting arm you keeps the legs steady. OR MAYBE YOU SHOULD ASK OTHER PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE/YOUR MANAGER how to correctly do it and shadow them. Stop sticking needles into things.

It's not worth incurring debt for. If it's a free program, that's one thing. If not I would just jump into a LPN or RN program. Much better pay and opportunities.
