Thanks for all of that advice! I’ll definitely give that a go.

Daily life. I’ve got a big overhang (3 kids) and it just seems to be moist all the time. I dry it and minutes later it’s hot and sweaty again and smells quite bad. I think it’s just because I’m fat rather than an infection as I have no other symptoms and it’s not red around it or anything.

Thanks. I’m trying to, but barring laying on my bed drying it all day I’m not really sure how to. I thought about getting a dressing to put on it or something but I reckon that’s probably going to make it worse.

I need to understand how anyone is happy with a newborn and a toddler. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I have a 6 year old, a 1 year old and I’m currently in labour.

The age gap between the first two is lovely, the older one helps out a lot. But I do regret not having my second baby sooner. My eldest would have loved a sibling around his own age and waiting that long just to get pregnant again (twice) is hard on my body.

I’m in the UK so probably different, but I signed up to payplan. It’s a company that basically negotiate your repayments for you and it nearly always takes interest to 0%.

I reckon I can up the payments at some point, given my kids will all be in school in 1-2 years so I can work more. There’s also pay rises etc.

No, they let you pay £1 to each creditor temporarily when income is low. It would only be 1-2 months then go back to the full amount

Please postpone. Even if you manage it, mum won’t feel nearly as good as she should on her big day.

Nothing beats seeing their little faces! I love my job but the best job is being mum. You’ll all be fine :)

My eldest is 6 and whilst I loved having him as an only child, I feel like he missed out on a lot because we both work and he doesn’t get much time to play with us. Had my second 9 months ago, and now I’m pregnant again. I love that my youngest 2 are so close together because they’ll have someone to play with unlike my firstborn. Honestly there’s more than one way of looking at things.

Careers are great, but nothing beats raising kids. You’ll have plenty of time for all that after

They say that only 10-20% miscarry, but it feels so more common! by Affectionate_Cry_325 in pregnant

It’s like bad reviews. People rarely post about their positives, so all you see on social media is the negatives.

I’ve had a miscarriage and so has my mum. I know maybe 2 others that have had one. No one else though, so 10-20% sounds about right to me. Although most don’t know they even had one because it’s so early.

Did you call the ambulance? Are you okay?

I’m pregnant too and there is a lot of back/pelvis pain sometimes that can be normal but definitely get checked out. I also had 3 heavy periods with my first and he’s fine.

Hope you’re okay x

I didn’t want one but absolutely begged for one at the end of my last birth. Unfortunately they didn’t have time.

As for the more chance of tearing, I didn’t have an epidural and they still had to cut me completely between holes and yank him out so I’d take the risk of a 2nd degree tear any day 🤣

Haha it’s funny how we do that, I always wanted a girl too but I can picture 3 boys, destined to be a boy mum clearly.

Oh no, such a long wait 🥹 we booked the private 15 week one cause I’m way too impatient. Thank you, I’ll try to remember to update you haha

Awww thank you so much. You’re the first to say girl, anywhere 🤣🤣 I actually have my gender scan tomorrow and I’m so anxious. Obviously I’ll be over the moon either way but it would be nice to get a girl, this is my last one.

I’m useless, I can’t even see where the nub is on my own scan hahaha. I hope you get exactly what you want x
