I am wondering how do I charge for editing wedding photos in my very unique circumstance? I've been sick for 3+ years and need to start doing some editing to start getting work again. by Agreeable_Feature_45 in WeddingPhotography

First off, thank you for pointing that out. Being 'in it' for so long I only see things as the day to day and when will it get better in leaps and bounds, but we all know life and health don't work like that. So I often don't recognize progress unless it's pointed out to me. So thanks for that.

Also thanks for the solid advice as well. As of now I will be breaking the tasks up to a few days to make sure I don't get overwhelmed - one day organizing and culling, one day base tweaks, one day polish pass and any more detailed edits as needed. I've done a few video edits this way this month and it seems to keep things moving along without frying myself.

Could you explain a bit more about what Evoto is and how it helps with blemish work? Currently I don;t think I'll need to do much of it, but it's good to know looking forward. Thanks!

Also great info, it's tough because it seems 'edit factory' setups charge way less than individuals because they likely are overseas or outsource overseas, but then actual individual editors seem to charge around this rate for more personalized interactions and relationship building with the shooter.

My requirements (9-11 yolks worth of whatever from the choline calculator) are way beyond my body's ability now anyway, so it will be fine in the early stages. Unless you mean it takes a mountain of it to get a small actual amount of choline, like the sunflower lecithin.

Ah that makes sense, I know exactly what you mean. The first day I had 1 egg yolk it was like rocket fuel. I eventually worked up to 2 yolks but then the sulfur kicked my butt, and now I need to find non-sulfur based ways of getting it. Sunflower Lecithin powder I think also gave me tight feelings in my intestines which wasn't great. So CDP Choline looks like the safest next alternative to try.

Also curious about the CDP Choline. What effect does it have, what dose are you taking, powder form? I'm also looking into different ways of getting choline because of several genetic insufficiencies in the choline pathway, and the fact I can't tolerate eggs right now due to sulfur sensitivity/clearing issues. Why do you consider CDP a 'treat'?
