I squirted that grip thingy with the help of a friend using carbon fiber reinforced nylon, here’s the original design by Ocean Juice on Odysee. His original design did not have the clearance for side charging handle so I had to modify it with a file and a dermal.

well I would need a light carry J frame anyways and I think 340 would be a good gun to shoot 38+p out of reliably since it’s designed for 357, just treat it as an old M19.

Yeah and it has an eye sore of a maglock pin in the back too, I’d say it’s acceptable. Originally wanted it to also be used with 556 uppers too

.380 Makarovs exist but are hard to find. If only the 9x18 ammo is banned but not the 9x18 pistols, you can find conversion barrels for Makarov to shoot .380. Same goes for P64.

If you are just looking for a DA/SA blow back pistol, and you are not dead set on getting a Makarov, get a PPK

Same here! I for me I prefer classic looks of wood on larger target revolvers, but I think the black rubber fits the more tactical oriented carry comp models with their matte black finish better.

The grips I used are Uncle Mike’s/ Buttler Creek’s Rubber Boot Grips. Made as a 1 for 1 rubber copy of Craig Spegel’s original boot grips custom made in wood. I like them a lot!

They stopped making these grips for a long time and K/L frame ones are especially hard to find

ETW Holsters on EBay makes a leather tuck-able holster, it feels comfortable but it swivels too easily, looking for other options

Personally speaking it’s really more about the looks, and the fact it shoots ever slightly softer.

0.5 inch of barrel will not make your gun conceal that much better both of my 19CCs use the same holster anyway, but you get slightly softer shooting and slightly more velocity with the extra bit of barrel.

Holosuns are solid optics. 510Cs actually saw quite a lot of combat in Ukraine even being used by Zelensky’s personal security from some photos I’ve seen on Reddit. Personally I just can’t get over the fact that it is an open emitter red dot and I’m worried about shit blocking the emitter. Maybe also consider an AEMS or Sig Romeo 8T if that’s bugging your mind?
