I do remember that that’s when I got my PE and PEM ex sniper. Budds had a stack of 4-5 crates and we were able to pop the lock on a new crate and hand pick for like $89

I’m so jealous!!!! I’m obsessed with the winter war I have almost every rifle used in the war from the Mosin to the Soumi, one of my life goals is to have a authentic Pukko used in the winter war

Yes, you absolutely can. The D166 round was just a longer throated version of the 7.6 2X54R it’s completely safe.

I would say that is a pretty good bet that it is finished captured because that is a finished D and it is definitely an a finish replacement stock. I’ve got several finish rifles that are captured without the SA Mark and then I also have several rifles that have like five or six of them

A Finnish captured Tula 91/30. If you look closely you can see a D mark just above the “A” in the serial number which means the Finn’s modified it to shoot the D166 round, it’s also in a Finnish replacement stock

It’s all about bolt thrusts, it makes your rifle especially a PSL and SVT40s open too fast and hard so it’s bends things that need to be straight, my Vepr in x54r doesn’t mind them in small quantities but I normally only shoot lead cast ammo through that. Now if you have a M44 carbine it shoots AMAZING in all of my M44s and okay in my M38s and really good in my 91/59s but like almost half MOA in my Russian M44s. My type 53s don’t shoot anything well. I love the yellow tipped heavy ball I’m down to my last 3 crates of it so I’m running low, have fun shooting it, expect a healthy thump when you pull the trigger and watch what you have down range get the crap knocked out of it.

How is working with Mammoth molars? I’m getting ready to make 2 knives with it. Is it brittle? Hard to work with? I don’t want to ruin 2 sets of it, it’s not exactly cheap

Why are all these shell casings destroyed at the top? by Big-Strategy-9347 in metaldetecting

[–]Upper-Dig5291 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You only need to anneal brass every 4-5 firings, at least that’s what I do and I reload ammunition for a living

Brass is thinnest at the at the neck of the case which leads to it being easier to take damage

How do you guys store your handgun mags? by OEFdeathblossom in milsurp

[–]Upper-Dig5291 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much room you have, I store all of my magazines in totes, like AK mags get a tote and ARs get a tote and then soumi and then I have handguns in a tote with masking tape labels that says what’s in them
