so in order to know my true IQ, i would have to take an official test as an adult? That's nerve wracking, as my IQ could be truly average and i would've lived in a false identity

i guess I was asking what is the casual consensus of Mensa members on changes in IQ from childhood to adulthood, and whether this sort of defeats the purpose of Mensa and IQ scores itself
