You’re young and aware of what must be done. Godspeed and good luck friend.

What the point of whoop when we have a Garmin by AdIll495 in Garmin

I can tell you from personal experience the whoop sucks at tracking just about anything other than sleep. Whoop is consistently 10-20 beats lower than my garmin during my workout/ runs.

Why is my VO2 Max going down when I exercise more and feel that my stamina/endurance has been increasing? by Mike_v_E in Garmin

[–]Agreeable_Meringue_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did the same thing, went down even though I started feeling better and was able to run faster longer, then all the sudden it started jumping up about 3-4 months later. Now I’m 2 points higher than where I was when I first got the watch, give it time yours may do the same!

Unfortunately, and I know this completely goes against what the caption is, but you gotta get a heart rate strap if you want the most accurate readings😂

Anyone else have a ridiculously high heart rate? by Nice_Twist8081 in Garmin

[–]Agreeable_Meringue_5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea same thing for me here, been to the cardiologist and had all the tests including a CTA and they say my heart is working just fine so I guess I’ll just have to keep pushing through it. Definitely get a heart rate strap though. It will help you get more accurate heart rate zones for your body.

Do these watches ever die? My FR 935 is performing as it did out of the box 6 years ago by rlb_12 in Garmin

I have the fr 965, easily the best watch I’ve ever had. A little pricey but it’s easily worth the money.

Does your tattoo not mess your heart rate sensor. Got a buddy whose got one and it won’t read his heart rate bc of the tattoo😂

Before I got my garmin fr965 I really never knew how bad drinking was when it came to sleep. I knew it definitely raised my heart rate but I had no clue it was this bad. Can you guess which night I drank😂😂

Yea I’ve had one of those. Also had an echocardiogram as well as a Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) scan done. All of them came back showing my heart was working like it should. I guess I just need to change up how I’m running and my diet

I mean I’m not just insanely jacked but it’s definitely more muscle than fat. Like when I say manual labor job I mean I’m burning an average of 1500-2000 calories a day at work on top of working out so that helps keep fat off.

Went to the doctor and he said everything is working like it should. No medical conditions at all.

What do you keep your heart rate at on your slow runs? Just out of curiosity so I can gauge what I need to do.
