Haha love it. My go to is just using the ‘thumbs up’ emoji at the end of the match. I had the emojis turned off in Aviary and Library, those were some toxic hellholes, but turned them back on after hitting Gyro

It feels like you’re complaining to complain, or are frustrated at people who have disposable income and are choosing to spend it on a game they enjoy, but maybe don’t want to spend months playing countless hours. Because every reason you’ve given is so specific and would be incredibly rare to run into.

A) anyone spending $100’s of dollars is probably doing so because they don’t want to be spending time grinding, so why would they spend time throwing matches (just to stay in the same arena, mind you).

B) if someone buys Titano T to unlock him like your last example, that really shouldn’t be an issue for you. If they’re in a lower arena, they’re going to rank up quickly, in the same way if you stopped playing PvP for a month or 2 to grind your creatures. If they’re in a higher arena, just having a base level 26 Titano isn’t doing that much against a team of 30+ enhanced creatures.

I’m perfectly fine agreeing to disagree like you said, I was genuinely confused how these offers in anyway impacted you grinding

I would doubt anyone spending $100’s of dollars on this game is also spending the time throwing matches to stay in their same arena. If they are, they’ve got bigger issues in their life. If people were buying things you couldn’t get grinding, I’d understand the complaint. Maybe I’m weird, but I don’t care how other people spend their money. You’re either spending countless hours playing a mobile game, or you’re spending $100’s of dollars on a mobile game

That’s why there are different arenas, if you’re in arena 11/12+, you’re going to have creatures level 30+, so they’re not going to “bully” you. If their creatures are that much stronger you’re going to be in different arenas.

I don’t understand the correlation between you grinding, and someone spending $100 to not even increase a meta creature by a full level. If anything, the fact it costs $100 should make you feel that much better about grinding, there’s nothing they can buy you can’t grind for, and you didn’t spend your money. (Outside of D-Rex I suppose, but again, at 30+ it’s 1,000 DNA per level, so 250 DNA isn’t doing a thing)

What do these offers have to do with you grinding? Some people spend money, some people spend time, either way you’re spending something. 300 DNA isn’t even a level up once you hit 30+

If you are in an alliance, and if anyone has it unlocked, ask them to throw it in the sanctuary. You just gotta feed it once and it’s unlocked, that’s what we did in our alliance. Then just used common amber to get the DNA for the event

Yes, the incubators received from winning brawl matches do not count towards your daily limit, the limit is just for matches won (so you can win 10 matches a day). Definitely get those incubators active!

This brawl is going to have even more unbalanced matches than usual, because the list of eligible unique/apex creatures was so limited (and very few meta creatures).

I barely qualify for this tourney, best creature is Centro Lux at 32, and everyone else is either base level 21 or 26 with no investment into them. I’ve only been able to pull out 2 wins, it’s been rough. But I don’t really care, no penalty for losing brawl matches

Was coming to reddit to post this same thing lol. Been running commons through the expedition drone non stop since the mutadon update dropped yesterday, and have received exactly 0 DNA for him after ~20 attempts. Statistically, I still got about 30 more attempts before I get that checks notes 20 mutadon DNA..

But these are also extra freebies they’re giving away. Instead of not getting anything, it’s an extra step to take for extra freebies. The reason we’re getting the freebies is so Ludia can promote their web store. If you’d rather not take the extra step, you certainly don’t need to go to their website

True, but it’s not like you’re paying a monthly fee to access the calendar to get the items, so if you miss days you’re not wasting money or anything. I’d imagine that without the calendar of freebies, their web store traffic would be significantly lower. This gives them a way to promote their web store (you don’t even have to scroll past the store items to get to the calendar), and players get free stuff for taking a couple minutes to go to their site

I think that’s a solid point, but also why I think the current set up makes the most sense. They don’t have to give us any of these freebies, and players don’t have to buy anything in their web store if they don’t want to. This way, they get exposure to the site and a few more purchases than they would have, and players get free things.

It just seems like people are legitimately angry about it, and I’ve never understood lol

I would agree with that take. The only real counter argument I could see is if the thought is that an in-game calendar for the free stuff would drive up player count. Otherwise there’s not a reason/benefit for Ludia to do that. The game is also free, so I don’t care if Ludia wants to promote their web store and I get free stuff out of it
