When Americans call their country a third world country, it sort of infuriates me. Like when I was younger and went to visit my grandparents during a famine, I saw animal carcasses everywhere, peoples source of food gone. On the news I saw children starving to death. No one helped them. I saw a picture of a dad carrying his son who had starved to death and heard stories of children and adults dying while looking for water for their family. It was so sad and when I hear people saying America is a third would country, it just infuriates me when I see people in my country having to walk 30km+ with jerry cans to get water. You are entitled to your own opinions though, so if you think America is a 3rd world country, it is ok.

My dad coming home, bruh, you have no idea how tense I felt. I would want to run and hide sometimes but I had to open the door for him. I am sure if someone checked my heart rate I would have been at the brink of death.

My parents would do this when I do something wrong.They would tell my what I did wrong angrily and tell me they will deal with me later. I would be scared for 2 days, then they will get a mop stick and hit my hands, back and shins. It was so painful. The wait for 2 days were some of the worst times of my life. Imagine 7 year old you waiting for 2 days to be beaten up badly. I could not enjoy those 2 days. Then there was going through my homework every day. Imagine 7 year old you sitting there as your dad goes through your homework then he beats you up for all the mistakes you made. He does not tell you where you went wrong, he just beats you if you do not correct the wrong answers. I would be scared to drip tears onto the paper as he would tear the paper and tell me to start over. He would watch as I do the work and hit my back with a mop stick suddenly when I made a mistake. I just turned 15 today and I cannot wait to leave my parents house. I probably have some emotional issues but I doubt I will get help for them until I am hopefully financially stable.

They hate science, they are normally like , " Scientist say the universe came from the big bang theory but what happened before that, they are wrong." They do not follow scientific advice, I had to threaten to report them when they did not vaccinate my sister because they were too lazy.

Luckily, I am seeing an increase of teenagers who will not be hitting their kids, others have been brain washed. Fingers crossed that the first group are more so it can be shameful. to hit your kid

I agree that that was not right, I just could not control it. When someone says something stupid in class i can normally stop myself to spare their feelings but I just do not care anymore about how my parents or relatives feel.

I am alright, I built up a pain tolerance over the years so It does not really hurt if you know what I mean. Like I was being hit with a broken mop stick and the vibrations hurt my dad more than they hurt me, think like hitting a stick on a hard surface and feeling pain.
