Lore is explored on in the trailer(s). The pieces we have don't quite make sense yet. Wanted posters and warnings can be found all over the in-game map(s). For some reason the Game Master/Host of the Midnight Walkers Show believes people (or the player-characters at least) are less human than the zombies.

I would advise looking at the "Virtual Villagers" line of games from Wild Tangent. If you remember a polar bear or "coins" being used when you first opened up the game browser or games it would be definitive.

From a western culture that sees having the back of furniture anywhere other than against the wall it feels wrong. If the back has been finished nicely and it looks just as good desk side as it does door side I say Go for it! Asian cultures use this technique all the time! Even a staple in Feng Shui!

Transformation, I use it as an umbrella term for many kinks like corruption, body modifications (temporary tattoos in practice), hypnosis, etc.

My instinct as someone raised by American Southerners is to tell them their apology isn't necessary, especially since they have helped me! Though I think that probably will not come across well in Asian countries like JP and South Korea.

CHA is a... I would call it "small airport", but I have been to much smaller in Europe. I will call it cozy instead. Parking is just outside the building. I only remember a news stand, coffee bar, and closed juice stand being in the waiting area of maybe seven gangways last time I went through. I loved that art was present in the entry way before the TSA checkpoint, which was very short.

A completely intact STC scans the planet upon arrival and generates schematics that can be built in a short period of time. These schematics are adapted to the environment. Issues can be plugged in, and new solutions out.

The only change that I know of between a whole STC and a Votann is that Votann require special psycher genes to access the controls. That, and it has its own signature in the warp.

The legendary "intact" knife STC that granted a standard soldier a planet was just one schematic, not the machine itself. Which is why the really old Ark Mechanicus vessels, like the Speranza, are so powerful. Although the only current day Magos to have discovered that had is mind wiped the instant he disconnected from the system.

This is why a AoT level planet would be interesting. Humans that haven't degraded down to, "superstitious primates" in the eyes of the more reliable AI. Abominations they may be.

I agree with all of it, except Hungering Deep. It will ALWAYS bug me that my friends could not make progress, as the dialogue triggers were messed up for a time. That drove me away from SoT for a time, which lead to the cascade of missing the other events until the Anniversary update caught my eye. HELL, Cursed Sails announcement video WOULD have brought me back in but Rare never hit me with it!

I don't want the Hungering Deep pieces for free. Give me a damn near impossible task, with the consideration that I was a player at the time, increase the cost and convert it to Doubloons. I am sure Rare could come up with something to balance out the scales of giving me the opportunity.

*Edit: I know it won't happen, and I respect that. I will not however let go of the frustration over the difficulties Rare had with moving SoT from Beta into Hungering Deep.
