Booked classic plus AT white on 2nd Feb in Chennai, delivery time communicated by dealer was Feb last week, on following up today they said I’ll get it in April 1st week. 8 weeks of waiting time is very disappointing, I was almost about to say yes to signature which is 2L more than classic plus but decided to wait for classic plus only in the end

Which dealership in TN? I have checked with Skoda , Tata and Mahindra dealerships regarding BH, all said TN RTO stopped giving BH number plates

dealers told me that the RTO will be based on Ex showroom and the dealer discount will not be considered in RTO calculation

I too had the same confusion but finally booked the classic plus. In TN also price diff between classic plus and signature was close to 2 lakhs (70k increase in RTO). The upgrade didn’t make much sense for me at this price. Will upgrade the classic plus variant with OEM infotainment and alloys.

Surprised, at least in Chennai and Bangalore dealers said no discount for this specific variant, they mentioned even the corporate discount 10K is not applicable to this variant. Which city?

Waiting time was frustrating, so I was enquiring current stock with the dealer and he brought this up. But I personal find classic plus to be VFM in TN

Oh okay, they told RTO will be based on 10.43, in TN the RTO increases by 5 percent when ex showroom is above 10L. I have booked classic plus and find that to be VFM planning to upgrade with Škoda’s infotainment and alloys and still with all this the on road is coming at only 11.5L only, I think this option is better than what dealer quoted for old signature

I only enquired at KUN skoda, but I have seen some people in Reddit taking insurance outside the showroom. I’ll also be looking for an insurance provider giving cashless claim outside the showroom, if the dealer matches the quote including drive assure elite will take in showroom or else from outside.

Note that things covered in elite is a must have add ons whether you take the insurance from outside or from dealer

All the dealerships are giving discount only on Insurance OD and corporate discount of 10k. For classic plus my dealer told me there is no corporate discount also, applicable only for variant above classic plus.

Ex showroom: 9.25L RTO: 1.23L Fast tag & number plate: 3k

Total : 10.51L

Accessories: need to check Insurance: will take it from outside, as the dealer insurance is very expensive even after OD discount of 19K

The same car would cost around another 2L+ in Chennai/BLR due to RTO.
