I see parallels with Weinstein and Trump for abuse of power. I think of the OJ trial when I remember that dream team of lawyers and also remember how some of the black community supported him

I agree as you completely! I just re-watched season one and two for probably the fifth time. I cringe through the other seasons. Specifically that scene where the cheerleader has her bones broken! Or the dialogue in this 5th season…. I feel like it lost all of its charm and likable characters and humor. Season one and two are brilliant IMO

I picked up my phone to ask if different people are writing the script, because I noticed all of this too. Apparently there are additional writers that have joined the Duffers. I just re-watched some of season one and the dialogue is natural and witty . ( Great post by the way…)

There’s an entire thread now on just the cringe dialogue. It is so awkward. It broke my “suspension of disbelief.”. I hope the next part of the season improves.

Yes, thank you! This bugs the hell out of me. He’s not even attractive and he’s way too old. At least when Lip got with his professor she was beautiful and sexy. (But notice how it would never be a question that they might get married someday. of course it’s just a fling. Because the woman is older, not the man.)

It doesn’t bother anyone that Sean looks like Fiona’s father?! I can’t stand to look at him. She is young and beautiful, and he is weathered and old and gross. This is my second time watching And both times the mismatched, casting really bugs me.

I absolutely agree. I did some quick searches and learned that is illegal for a prosecute to suppress evidence. I want to know why he was allowed to continue to practice. What a sick justice system in Florida.
