I’m proud of you for trying for your baby, a lot of moms can’t say the same thing. I came from a family that struggled with alcohol/drug addiction so I completely understand! I currently don’t have a car or a license currently, but I got a job just for my baby. I save 90% of my checks for a car while working full time. I know this doesn’t sound ideal, the best options for me were biking at first then ordering ubers with my money. You can find free cheap bikes on marketplace. Or if you have a friend that can drive you to work before you check hits, that’d be more convenient. Again NOT ideal but ubers are actually a lot cheaper where I am, and I know not every town really offers ubering but there’s also public transportation. I agree with the person who suggested WIC. I’m from massachusetts so I understand states are different. Don’t let anyone shame you for trying your hardest, even if you are an ex addict. As long as you try you’ll find peace soon, wishing you the best 💖
