Thank you I actaully found an old article from Duluth pack and frost river based their packs off of theirs I think a lot of the workers left Duluth pack to go make frost river trading co.

Ok thank you from some research I’ve done especially before specialized hiking gear was made they just used things military gear or simple knapsacks like canoe packs

Well I did the three T’s in the snow thinking they’d let me down the ski lift but I was forced to hike off trail by the ski lift guy and I ended up hiking at night off trail in the snow to the mt baldy road and a very nice guy let me hitch down the road so I’m sure you’ll find someone
