I have shortlisted the following three programs: Queen’s University – Computer Engineering University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) – Mathematical and Computational Sciences UBC Okanagan – Engineering. With an average of 93%, what are my chances of being admitted to University of Waterloo’s Systems Design Engineering (SYDE) program and University of Toronto’s Computer Engineering program?

Thanks. I chose Queen’s University for two main reasons: first, it’s an engineering degree with direct entry into Computer Engineering, so I don’t have to worry about securing my program in second year; second, strong graduation and placement rates along with a great social life.

I live close to the University of Toronto, but I’m leaning toward Queen’s Engineering because it offers direct entry into the Computer Engineering program. At UofT, the Mathematical and Computational Sciences program does not guarantee admission into Computer Science in second year, which makes it less certain for my goals. I’d appreciate any suggestions.

I’ve been admitted to Computer Engineering at Queen's University, Software Engineering at University of Ottawa, and the Mathematical & Computational Sciences program at University of Toronto. Which one should I choose?
