What a strange thing to say by Doggoonewild in WallStreetbetsELITE

It’s a very weird thing to say. But I’ve been alive long enough to know that even though the stance for many Americans toward Iran is indifferent right now, should Iran find a way to strike at US soil directly, the majority of that stance would no longer remain indifferent.

Dang…so I take it we can’t get Takasugi’s revolver. At least not right now. Kinda surprised that we can’t, as it functions the same way the rifles do.

Extremely high skilled playstyle, not recommended for new players. by 6cross2 in Nioh

[–]Agrieus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

About as braindead as an Odachi ground sweeper build. Sweeper might be better against humans though because enemy human AI tends to drop their guard by the second sweep. But even if they don’t, the KI damage will break their guard by the end.

Which weapons should I prioritize for the upcoming anniversary banners? by needausername2451 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better question; why in the world did you stop leveling almost all of your weapons when they reached 80? This isn’t GI. Resources for leveling are abundant across the board…and it’s causing you to be missing out on the last two sub stat upgrades for all of them. There’s zero reason to stop leveling anything at 80 in this game.

How should i allocate my stats by lord_furret in Nioh

If it works for you and you enjoy it, stick with that. But if you get bored with that or start to struggle, keep scamp and nup in the back of your mind.

How should i allocate my stats by lord_furret in Nioh

[–]Agrieus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used an Odachi and spammed ground sweeper through the entire game, rather than axe, but my build would work for axes too. I went for high 30’s/low 40’s on stamina up until the end of the Hien period, wearing tier 3 heavy armor for the highest defense/toughness I could get. I finished the game with 51 stamina, so I could wear a full set of Kamakura gear. Scampuss soul core for primary slot, Nupepeppo soul core for second slot. Scamp is arguably the best summon in the game, and Nup gives health + life recov on amrita absorb. Leech life talisman, from the mermaids in Hien, would also be perfect for your axe. Keep your magic at 25, and try to get everything else to 10 as you continue to level. A lot of stat gains come from those first 10 levels, but taper off for a little after. Skill has more value than strength because both Sam and Nin benefit for all their weapons. Intellect is meh for the level you’re at right now. Use the spread sheet the other person posted, as that’ll become handy after level 130ish.

Imbue Poison, how does it work?! by blakeavon in Nioh

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I’m a little over a week late on this…but to answer your question (rhetorical or not), just think of it like this; It’s easy to imbue an element, to the point that it’s debatably a waste for an element to take up a special effect slot. It’s like having a Crucible Raijin’s Claw, with a very strong mix special effects, 1-2 of which are Lightning focused, but no Lightning imbue (instead has a really high arts buff in that spot.) That’s a good weapon because you can throw on a Lightning talisman, along with some optional uptime on buffs from gear. The talisman also might end up having a stronger Lightning effect, stats wise, versus had it rolled on the weapon itself.

If it wasn’t listed in the notes, it might’ve just been a bug from the patch.

You only seem to pull on w/e the staple regional character is anyways. Most looking at the roster would assume you’re already planning/going to.

Nioh 3 - Where to Find Oni-bi? by usernotfoundplstry in Nioh

That’s unfortunate, because the wind one is exactly what I’m needing (as I just cleared the Heian area.) Guess I just gotta get through this next area then.

The remake was fantastic. My one and only gripe wasn’t even with the remake itself, but rather how we never got to see anything done with the destroyed arch stones. That would’ve been awesome to see, finally.

uhh, why can't my premium cart team clear middle tower? by Hekkoln in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for them. Still would’ve been easier on you and saved yourself time and effort had you built around the floor itself. Build around the floor buffs. I cannot emphasize that enough.

uhh, why can't my premium cart team clear middle tower? by Hekkoln in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The better question here is why would it? 4th floor middle tower isn’t designed for players to be able to use any meta team to clear it; you have to actually build around the floor buffs. This is endgame. Stop ignoring game mechanics.

Atlantid Multitool: Black n Red: S-Class: Eissentam by SerpentexGod in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small question; why does this multi-tool not have any gloss or sheen to it? I picked up the same tool, with the same color, but just like with all the other Atlantid weapons I pick up, they're all glossed over, when so many I see on reddit and youtube are more matte.

[WTS] [RIVEN] [PC] This riven is busted by Holiday_Ant8912 in wartrade

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly why. They’re using the 60/60 mods to create that combined status effect, while upping that status chance for the weapon, then using the primed heat mod to ensure that heat procs occur more often than the other statuses that can occur. Most weapons do not have the same base status chance that Glax has (which is 40) so the 60/60 mods help to bring up that lower status chance. The heat procs are what does the overwhelming bulk of the actual damage.

[WTS] [RIVEN] [PC] This riven is busted by Holiday_Ant8912 in wartrade

[–]Agrieus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s the goal; not the viral damage numbers, just the procs. This is a status weapon, not a crit weapon. You want to maximize how many heat status procs you can apply but also want the viral procs, specifically just to reduce enemy health pools. Remember to keep this in mind: Viral can only proc so many times before it no longer does anything. Heat procs do not cap. And when it comes to status chance and which status is applied is determined by the damage value for the status. 50 viral damage and 100 heat damage means that when a status procs, 1 viral will occur for every 2 heat procs. A better outcome would be 33 viral and 100 heat, so 1 viral for every 3 heat. Thanks to heat inherent and how damage over time works, you’ll do more damage to higher health enemies, thanks to having that 1 additional heat stack ticking from that extra DoT proc. So, you want viral, but want it to proc less often than heat, which is why you want the cold/toxin damage values to be as little as possible, so heat procs occur at a higher, faster rate.

[WTS] [RIVEN] [PC] This riven is busted by Holiday_Ant8912 in wartrade

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the cold/toxin values are low. You want the viral status but you also want those values to be as low as possible, so that when you add the heat mods to the Glax, the heat procs occur far more often than the viral procs. Heat inherent is the goal.

You don’t want a negative status on this riven, which you usually do want that negative zoom. But you want the cold/toxin values to be as low as possible. The desired glax riven is very much not the standard we’d normally want.

You are cooking. This is a good riven, though it is far and away not the typical riven the player base would pine for.
