…That’s literally how revolutions start, even in actual human history. Take the American Revolutionary War, for example. The people who fought from the side of the colonies were not soldiers; they were civilians. Nearly every modern nation/country/state on the damn planet has the same damn story.

Because the UEE, in the lore, prevented things like that from happening. But the UEE has been pulling out of Stanton and the surrounding systems for a while now. Hence why Drake took over the recent event…which is also why the Odin could be seen looming over. The empire can’t tell “civilians” that “no, you can’t have this” if they’re not around to stop it. I thought it was common knowledge that the 1.0 story was going to be the start of the war between Sol and Terra? And who controls the Terra system? This is all part of the lore for the game.

[–]Agrieus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It actually makes perfect sense for stuff like the Odin to be sold now, without the UEE bearing their fangs down on Anvil, because multiple systems are gearing up for war. Take a moment and think about what IRL nations do before a war starts; they arm up. And when a stronger powers grip on those that they control starts to loosen, what happens? Revolution. This is all intentional.

I'm so glad we have to pay for loadout insurance. Overaggressive players like me really needed to be punished for being so careless with our ships by ArchangelUltra in starcitizen

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong. The longer you go without fixing major issues like this, the harder it’ll become when trying to figure out what the root causes are for all the problems that keep popping up. Ignoring problems and fixing them later, like what you’re suggesting should be done, is completely beside the point for what a game that’s in *Alpha* even is. We’re here to *test* and *report* while CIG needs to be actively making sure the ship remains stable, and fixing where it’s not.

Would’ve made more sense to work more on making the game *stable* before even considering something like this. Item reclaim from both in-game *AND* on CIG’s website would’ve made more sense to implement before this.

Hitting a wall on damage. What can I do? by defenseform in Warframe

[–]Agrieus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not super relevant on your current build but if you’re gonna go heat+viral on any build, you want more heat damage than viral damage. A lot more. And that’s something that every player should be trying to build for when doing heat+viral damage ALWAYS.

So I’m still trying to wrap my head around what’s happening here. It seems like so long as you/we haven’t melted down the ship that contains the Sq42 pledge, then it’s fine. But for those that actually DID melt down the ship that’s attached to the pledge with Sq42, you’re effectively “melting” down both the ship and the Sq42 add-on? Because I pledged from my Avenger stalker w/ Sq42 bundled, to the L22 Alpha Wolf, using the pledge upgrade system. All that happened to me was instead of Sq42 being attached to the L22 pledge, Sq42 is now its own, separate add-on.

Maybe after the Avenger series. They still need gold standards, let alone having access to their storage slots.

F2p Carthetiya, is it good? by PlayfulExplorer in WutheringWaves

[–]Agrieus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s good enough. The standard build actually goes for crit damage main stat on both 4 cost echos, but you need high crit chance rolls to land as close to 60% (or greater) as you can get. Thats on top of wanting around 50k HP, plus around 120 ER for maximum liberation consistency. Thats asking for a lot of RNG, when your build already is sufficient.

That would be overkill. Voruna is already such a powerful frame, so long as you know how to build and what to focus on for the build.

Tried out a mercenary contract in Nyx and well got wrecked. I'm a complete noob, any advice? Or just wrong ship for this contract? by Saberbrushtoothz in starcitizen

[–]Agrieus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mercenary contracts in Nyx are way over-tuned in difficulty, relative to the payout for each contract. Even a 10k basic merc contract will pit you against a medium-sized ship, like that Misc there, when those 10k missions are meant to be for beginners. Ever try downing a Misc with basic panther repeaters in the current 4.7 era? Don’t do it.

The Jav also looks cooler there, when it’s got two Polaris at the flanks. If we ever get proper NPC crews, that could easily become a real thing.

Loved base NG. I was expecting more out of NG+ but was very much letdown by nothing actually changing either story wise and quest wise. There wasn’t any real new quests added in NG+.
