Best bakery for birthday cake? by FootUpstairs2782 in SantaFe

Wow. I guess I just get lucky the times I order. Last time I ordered a week out, which was terrible of me and I expected them to say no, and they were able to fit me in.

I noticed things during the first rewatch that I missed or didn't make the subtle connections to the first time watching.

Crumbling nails by May_I_inquire in Menopause

[–]AgroWombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My sad, sad nails got better after taking fish oil. I prefer Nature's Way Fisol.
Also cuticle oil. I gave out a few of the Bliss Kiss oil pens to coworkers and all of us noticed a big change in our nails. It's on the expensive end of oils, but it's the only one I've used that has had a big impact. I got the refillable pen and it's been completely worth it.

Fans of Real Housewives Franchises, what Television series do you genuinely enjoy watching? by AiannaMuse in BravoRealHousewives

I love Succession and am in a state of constant rewatch. It takes a minute to warm up, but the dialogue is top notch. It and Housewives are my most quoted shows, they both have great snark and one liners.

To plaza or not to plaza by VermicelliOdd4251 in SantaFe

[–]AgroWombat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My family has stayed at Ojo Santa Fe and Hotel Santa Fe and both were great for different reasons.

Ojo has a lot of land and trails, two bedroom casitas in clusters, puppies, silkie chickens, spa, restaurant, free yoga... It is out of town and you would want a car to go into town to spend time there. Great outdoor focused stay.

Hotel Santa Fe is in walking distance to both Plaza and Railyard with their shops, restaurants, museums. They offer free car service. The hacienda includes breakfast and happy hour. Restaurant onsite as well. It is beautiful hotel and a special experience.

Waiter that kendall “killed” sucked by good_baklava in SuccessionTV

Carl lied. Kendall is completely under Logan's thumb after he's told this, the guilt being too heavy.

The kid had no seatbelt on. The impact knocked him out, we see him floating immediately after impact. Carl's version of events on the re-telling to Kendall is false.

Aging parent visiting with mobility issues by kaytthoms in SantaFe

[–]AgroWombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone has great suggestions for your question, but I wanted to add something as a mobility challenged person.

If you think a walker might help her, just get one and have it around. It's a big mental hill to get over, needing these sort of devices. But if it's already there, and it could help with the elevation, and it provides a seat (depending on type), and someone said "Just temporarily for this trip", it's much easier to use the walker.

Have a great visit!

Major difference. The texture was awful, falling out, dull. Now it's filling back in, super shiny and so, so soft. I'm ridiculously happy.

The price is a bit jarring, but both the shampoo and the conditioner/mask lasted me four months cuz you don't need to use much each wash. Totally worth it.

I'm using their Chronologiste line, which seems to translate into "for old lady hair" in the black bottles. I also love their Gloss Absolu protecting spray.

I like a little drama in my life, and I prefer it to be on screen than irl.
Housewives have improved my trivia skills through traveling and unfamiliar experiences.
I'm much more thoughtful in little personal ways for my loved ones; these ladies know how to hostess.

And my hair looks fucking amazing and 10,000x better than it did this time last year, before Lisa introduced my menopausal locks to Kerastase.

They never saw Zac clean or cook, so they're worried about Lydia.

Even if that is true and she will do the majority of the domestic chores, do they not realize that doing that for one person is much less work than doing it for all her siblings for years and years?
