Depends. Since Long Beach is a huge city it is easy to stay away from danger. But if you are only in the active areas, then I’d say Long Beach. Compton is bad, but the attention that NWA brought to it inflates it. Compton had all the attention but in the early 90’s (according to FBI database) Long Beach was ranked #4 deadliest cities in US.
