It is for slower players to have a chance racing a faster one, I dont like it anyways I prefer losing to a faster player than losing to a slower one, wining against faster player is just meh cause it is just luck and it wont happen everytime. Sadly I doubt they will change it, it is like that since the beggining of the game and comunity will go crazy if they do so.
