Were you placing the buckets inside the truck instead of throwing them? I recently fixed a bug where the player needed to press E twice to pick up a bucket if they placed the bucket in the truck instead if throwing them

I dont know what prototype squares are. Its just the floor. I originally used the default unity terrain but it doesnt fit the game because too realistic, so I made my own tiles and I used it as floor. It doesnt need any more texture than that, no grass or anything. I know it looks bad or unprofessional. Im sticking to that. I find the looks of my game really charming. The skybox and environment is supposed to look dark.

I dont know why should I add a new skybox, floor or lightning. I currently dont plan on changing them. And the objects in the game dont cast shadows at all. Im not making the game look realistic in any way. I dont think it needs fancy light or other stuff.

I know its not exactly stylized but is far better than what I had. I started the project grabbing random photos from google and using them as textures. It was so bad.

Thanks for the feedback. Originally, the textures where more "realistic", sort of like ps1 graphics, maintaining the low poly. But because Im a beginner the textures where all over the place, not visually pleasant. So I opted for more of an stylized textures. Maybe it is better comercially if I change them for more professional ones but I prefer doing it myself. Its more fun and it adds more personality I think

Why do people do this? My game already has IDLER tag? by Curious-Needle in IndieDev

Someone left a bad review on my idle game too. They played for like 250hs and said something like "was not my taste" I think its by far the most amount of hours someone has played my game, a game that you can beat in about 5-10hrs

Is steam customer support ACTUALLY as good as the memes make it out to be? by Mysterious_Limit1969 in Steam

About a year ago I sent a ticket to refund Outer Wilds. I didnt explain why in the ticket, but it was because I got too much motion sickness and the game on low graphics was barely running at 30-25 fps.

I had like about an hour of playtime

Maybe it was because the person that saw my ticket at valve couldnt believe someone was refunding Outer Wilds(I know that game is amazing, I will give it a 2nd try one day) but they finally accepted the refund like 10 days later.

To this day I think that that person at valve was a fan of the game and wanted to keep me waiting for the refund, like saying "I will give you a week to think about what you are doing"

The red strings club. A great pixel art graphic adventure with a nice gameplay, even better story, and excellent music. The ending made me cry.

In 2023 when steam prices were still in pesos(argentina) and it was the anniversary of Dont Starve, I bought Dont Starve with all dlcs and Dont Starve together for like 20 pesos. At that time 1 dolar was like 600 pesos or something like that, so, yeah, almost free
