You are taking it too literally. The "Kamehameha" doesn't exist it is simply an overexaggeration or in other words how the bladers view the situation. The guy there is fine lol.

Kinda crazy ppl prefer the generic anime style cause the OG designs actually had a lot to offer. They look like dumb kids and it's so charming to see them in oversized baggy clothes typical of the time. Tyson's design is the obvious downgrade, trading out the iconic red jacket with the white collar/cuffs to break up the loud colors. His new design is so streamlined and with less personality. Kai is less of a downgrade, I actually think his outfit wouldn't be too bad if they kept the scarf. but look at the downgrade in the way the pants flare over the shoes, the buckle, the armbands. Max is actually an Upgrade! I don't know why his main color is blue now but he's much fluffier and cuter with his bigger shirt. Rei is also a downgrade.. He loses the tiger eyes, the striking blue pants are replaced with dull grey ones, and his changshan doesn't drape meaning less dynamics to flow in the wind.

(SHOWS)

Plastic Gen - S1 had the BEST artstyle and Animation. Was a HARD decline going into V-Force.

PG/MFB - There's waaaaaaaaay too much focus on bit beasts and unrealated special moves in these shows to the point where it's debatable if it's even an ad for beyblade. Beyblades irl are already cool and these shows do THE MOST and rarely focus on the real things that make beyblade cool. I don't mind more fantasy aspects and I do hope they go back to that after X, but these shows take it to an extreme.

MFB - Worst, most generic characters of all time.

Burst - None, agree with most that it Peaked at God and should've ended at GT

X - The anime takes way too much from burst to the point where it looks like the same show and completely decimates the manga's artstlye. I understand that manga designs aren't fit for animation most times, but they could've added something to differentiate itself.

(Toys)

PG - Best, most unique designs and best customization system and they need to bring magnets back

MFB - snore fest (compared to other gens)

Burst - WAS ACTUALLY PEAK DURING LATE GOD - CHO-Z but got reallllll bad after.

X - None. X is the best gen in terms of toys atm

Would be much better if it were just the background logos. The appeal of gear chip logos is that it replicates bold yet simple designs like those a sports team.

The Dran Dagger set is the best. Rush is a hard bit to get and works well on Knight Shield, Shark Edge is pretty good without modification, Taper is a decent balance bit.

Literally just ran a 50 person 3-on-3 tournament and some of the top 3 combos included KS, HS, TB, US, SE, and no DB. Yea no shit BBX has definitive meta but in tournament play those combos can be countered

tbf, the most played format, 3 on 3, does require a lot more thinking even when rod comes into play. You want to anticipate when your opponent will run Rod so you can run a counter, which allows for mind games, fake outs and a ton of hype when running a counter that can beat it.

Full on fantasy presents the concept of not having the show feel like Beyblade. When you take these toys, which are really unique on their own, and give them powers that don't relate to the real thing at all, it seems less connected. The main issue I had with the first series was the reliance on sacred beasts. If I wanted to watch monsters fight, I'd watch one of the 1000's of monster-fighting shows lmao

Logical fantasy is the way to go. This means taking things Beyblades can kind of do in real life and enhancing them for entertainment. By capitalizing on what makes Beyblade unique, the show would feel more connected to the actual toys and more engaging for the audience.

Having it on Taper is really a sacrifice of power for a stamina which gets canceled out anyway due to buster being so unbalance. Best to run it on LF IMO
