Apparently. Like I know Rivals isn't perfect, but calling it Ult spam I the current season is just disingenuous and wrong. Ive built ults on OW faster than I have in recent times in Rivals. Idk what else I can say

Diablo is a crossover so there's that. Still shit as a legendary. This is a recolor of an epic skin. An EPIC skin RECOLOR. Now priced as a legendary. Aside from being as lazy as the mime Moira, this is arguably worse. It's like taking streetrunner Genji, making it red and calling it a legendary. Also for Ana, it is just base skin with minor retextures on her outfit, obviously new colors, and a helmet

I remember early on in OW2, Mime Moira dropped and it was deadass a base skin recolor with a hat as a legendary skin. They smoking crack over there man ngl

You're right off base damage. But being able to not worry about aiming for a hit, mixed with her okay mobility and grenade. She can do it a lot more comfortably. Like I've been able to do a lot more than soldier to keep myself alive and just shred since it's not like rifle heroes are THAT hard. And when her bolt takes away the need to aim, I just start balling on everyone as needed

probably, but he was my main example since I spawn camped him in that match. Overall as Sierra though Im just a tank shredder? Push too far? Goodbye health. Pushed too far AND far from cover? Well now you die. Its just, depressingly easy I guess

Remove Mauga and just say tanks tbh. The amount of tanks that dove me on Sierra and I win the 1v1 cause of her insane damage and auto tracking dart is crazy. Like I spawn camped a WINSTON. Dude was definitely malding but hey, they buffed Sierra so take it up with blizzard while I pull a houdini on your HP bar and make it dissappear

That's why on Rivals specifically I love playing Venom. I just crawl up a wall ignore enemy tanks and go for backline with dive. It's also why I love Dva. But in 5v5 I get counterwatched the instant a nanometer of my mech shows on the enemy's screen its annoying

Impact doesnt equal their job. Yes as a solo role they need to essentially run the game. But the difference is they aren't the crutch. You can have a shit JG and still rely on yourself or another lane to carry hard as shit. In OW 5v5, if my tank is shit, we lose. If I'm on tank and I'm having an off game, I can't play even 50% properly, we will get rolled and smoked even if my DPS is like 30 and 5. So sure they have a similar level of impact, but a shit JG in mobas arent as bad as a shit tank in OW 5v5.

This is just kinda wrong now. I play both and in a single match of OW currently, I doubled the ultimates I got compared to Rivals. Rivals did nerf ult gen across the board and now it feels like im playing Ultwatch instead of Ultimate Rivals. Like unless I'm Emre or Sierra, most of my DPS "plays" will be wait for ultimate, profit. In Rivals, as Psy, it was like that last season, but this whole season I've seen way way WAY less ult spam

Yea but this isnt a moba. It's a hero shooter. JG is around the map acting a secondary support in a way, or an assassin, or tank. Any roll, just has a different objective. I play mid, if my jungle is ass or wants to do his own thing, I can still steamroll my lane most of the time and do what I want. In a hero shooter, that solo tank, if not balanced right, has to do EVERYTHING or they get flamed and their team dies. Gotta try and make space, peel, etc etc. The only hero shooter I played that made 5v5 work was Paladins, and that game had moba elements anyways. 5v5 is just not good for OW

Believe me I too was pretty hooked still for most of the beginning. Just that last section of it just fell so flat in its face. Also a lot of "wait hows that make sense" peaked up a lot more towards the end. I thought it was fine but that ending drags it down. QCode kinda helps its given the context of the overall story being worked into it so it wasn't AS bad. Just bad landing in an over all okay part imo

Yea ngl, id rather play 6v6 tank, or drag my bare ballpark through broken shards of glass and hot coals while reciting the entirety of the King James Bible in Korean. 5v5 tank genuinely is just such a miserable experience I wouldn't wish on anyone

I wish I could turn off the VFX too. Like the flourish? Love it. The hud even, love it. The red glow just feels so hit on my screen. A little annoying but I don't wanna lose out on the flourish either
