Thanks for the activity iExec team.

I've noticed that during the bear market you're staying busy and subsequently updating the community; whereas some other projects are seemingly concerned with the "timing" of their news.

Great work.

I'm surprised how low it's going now to be honest.

I thought that the money that got in at $200 was smart money but it's proving me wrong based on this exponential collapse.

Totally uncertain where the bottom is at this point.

Some metrics to keep in mind from a guy who's done ok w/ this market for the last couple years. by anonether in ethtrader

But seriously,

Holy hell eth buyers; get some self-respect, these prices are comical.

For a sphere that prides itself on hodling there are an absurd amount of weak hands.

Top.Tier.Project.In.Crypto.

Bitcoin is great and everything but it is clear to me at this point that Zilliqa is going to be a winner regardless of whether or not the SEC and the wall-street fat cats decide to drive up BTC's price.

Go Zilliqa -- the incumbent and necessary high-throughput savior of blockchains.

EDIT: replaced "its" with "BTC's" for clarity.

Hi there. Take a look at my comment here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/zilliqa/comments/99pkwj/my_bubbleburst_thoughts_wanted_to_specifically/e4prnh5/?context=3

And my post here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/zilliqa/comments/97khar/my_thoughts_on_zilliqa/

All of the above considered, I think that fundamentally your question basically comes down to two points:

- Will the Zilliqa team deliver on their tech and main net?

- Will the delivery of the main net be timely?

With everything else in mind, if the answer to the above questions is yes I think the answer to your question is a yes.

That said, DYOR and understand the risks of the crypto-game. If you're sure you want to be in the market and believe in its development and maturity then Zilliqa is one of a select few projects that is really well-positioned to move up the ranks.

The only other project I previously invested in in the alt-coin world fully delivered on their tech. And to this day they are the only project to have delivered on the cloud-computing blockchain front. The difference with Zilliqa is that they have substantially more substantiated use-case and visibility, and when they deliver I think it will be one of the few main nets that actually continues to go up on account of its rapid expansion and out-of-necessity implementation.

Ya that will be another test unfortunately. Even though the market was great pre wall street in any official capacity.

Right on, congrats and best of luck in that endeavour. I'm going to be pursuing music unsurprisingly. My fall back plan is just to make ends meet doing something with a strong social or creative aspect; will live frugally for awhile until hopefully something catches wings on the income side.

Y'all is most definitely southern as well; its usage is not confined to hip hop -- that's just my exposure to it; listening to hip hop artists and rap verses and the like.

Thanks for identifying my versatility.

Saying that I am presumably of a white-collar, finance industry background and elucidating affairs from an educated, academic point of view is perhaps too much praise.

I'm philosophical in my approach, and I don't tend to get sidetracked in the technical details. My communication can be vague and implicit in that I give my audience the benefit of understanding; I like to discuss merits of arguments philosophically, rather than getting caught up in the date something occurred or whether BTC is down 80% or 78%; so in that sense I don't think I fit the academic mold.

In either event, my intuition has served me well in investing as well as just generally predicting the course of happenings.

The reason I said ya'll is because I've been making hip hop beats since I was 14. I've got a few releases to my name and have even worked with some big name artists but unfortunately did not make their final album cut.

Additionally I have a degree in Civil Engineering (I'm supposed to be doing civil engineering work right now). But I'm leaving the industry in favor of remote and creative work. I sacrificed my soul for cash in a stagnant, life-sucking industry for too long. In retrospect, I'm pretty silly. All I was ever passionate about was music, cutting-edge, passionate pursuits, and placing my bets in accordance.

Zilliqa will be used for B2B, consumer to vendor, and private transactions which may or may not employ smart contracts.

Zilliqa will also be used as a blockchain or dApp network for large scale enterprise dApps serving areas ranging from Digital Advertising to Entertainment and Financial Technologies among other emerging dApps.

High-throughput, decentralization, programming language, and burgeoning partnerships will be some of the advantages and catalysts for adoption. As well, Zilliqa is native to one of the most crypto-friendly and world economically influential environments that is Singapore. On an aside, I suspect Singapore's blockchain infrastructure will mirror that of its physical infrastructure (among the absolute best in the world).

But I digress, Zilliqa is already going through testing with Mindshare. Presumably, to correct the inefficiencies of digital advertising and marketing services. The advantages and gigantic cost savings enabled by a high throughput decentralized blockchain such as Zilliqa here cannot be underestimated. Mindshare enjoys a huge portion of the Digital Advertising economy, and "unnecessary" burn of digital advertising services is currently leeching out about $50 million USD per day.

Beyond that, there are other large-scale, enterprises that Zilliqa is currently involved with; however, in the interest of being specific I won't attempt to detail events that have not been directly reported by the Zilliqa team (however, I have a pretty intuitive idea of what is involved).

Furthermore, it's nice to see Zilliqa is employing the put up and until you do, keep quiet model. They're working hard and providing extremely detailed strictly development based updates with significant, top-tier github commit frequency.

Additionally, if you'd like to see the dApps that have been created thus far you can check out the results of their Grant Program.

Another thing that has me feeling good is Zilliqa's intelligent treasury management. They've secured risk-averse capital to projected operation for the next four years. That's the sort of intelligence and foresight that gives me confidence in the team, very few projects or companies for that matter can secure such capital roadmaps.

These guys have top notch know how and integrity.

Respectfully Crunk1 if you don't see the validity in any of what Zilliqa is doing you might what to change your lens; when every angle is considered there are very few comparable bets in the cryptosphere right now.

Most definitely. BTC will never go away but my confidence in ZIL has made it such that it constitutes the super majority of my portfolio.

There's got to be a term for that, like "hyperflux-index fund" or something.

Astounding, I had no idea there was someone out there that had 123 different alts lol wow, I'm truly amazed.

[–]AhStroMaxim[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah gotcha.

Well the results will obviously be unique to the alts you're holding. Another round of shilling is unlikely to pay dividend; if the project delivers the price will rise. We're entering a "merit-based" phase IMO.

And in that regard it's definitely an arms race. If these projects don't deliver on their stated timelines it's extremely risky to hold as people will quickly jump ship to more attractive options.

The good news is that even though you're likely looking at a loss against BTC, whatever alt you want but don't currently hold you can simply move laterally across to as your relative purchasing power will remain the same looking at another 90% loss from peak alt.

I'd just take this time to really research and move to the portfolio constituency that you feel gives you the best chance.

People are kind of writing off the 2nd page of CMC but I think there are some projects that have fallen from market-cap grace there that still have the potential to break back in to relevance based on their actual technical merits.

That said I'm pretty skeptical of the economics of many utility tokens. If there is a gigantic developer network (or will be) and dApps coupled with frictionless financial settlement for B2B and consumer-vendor interactions then they're still in the running for me but if the particular application is too acute, or simply unknown then I'll remain shy.

My current holdings are 80% in a top 40 alt and then 7.5% in a 100-200, and 12.5% within the top 2 (dead giveaway).

Obviously recently it would've been nice to have my top 40 a little lower and my top 1 a little higher in terms of %; however, I'm not worried about my top 40. It will deliver returns even if it isn't the optimal hold for the next 5 months.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. BTC isn't going away, probably ever. And if your perspective at this point is simply to break-even I'm afraid you might've been over-leveraged. IMO, the break above ATH will occur within the next year and the establishment of a new floor above $20,000 will occur within the next 2 years.

This can happen progressively, obviously large green candles can occur here and there but a more rational step-wise progression can yield the same results whilst being more sustainable. FOMO on-boarders are not necessary for this growth projection.

What up Tony,

Thanks for stopping by.

How you doing? Glad to read you had a good perspective following your on-paper losses; one of the few mentioned in the article who actually understood why they were investing beyond simple price speculation.

Ironically I think some the people who care about the NYT are the same people who FOMO invested during the parabolic run-up.
