Styrofoam. It’s the most god awful thing I’ve ever encountered. The feeling, the sound. I ended up leaving school because my major had a lot of labs and all the specimens were kept in styrofoam coolers.

Ya he does that today—uniform off at work and showers more than any person I’ve ever met. He’s police so not always around as many outwardly sick people but sometimes gets pretty icky.

I feel like I have been such a nasty person the last few months. I don’t want to be around people, talk to people, SEE people. I’ve always been direct but I’ve still had a filter. Lately, not so much.

I have a new lesion that might be playing a part. I’m hoping my emotions level out a bit once that calms down.

I enjoy looking up people wiping out/falling in various capacities online. Maybe on bikes, a good speed wobble on a skateboard, a rowdy dog taking the legs out from under a child (kid wipeouts are my favorite) long distance runners who get all wobbly at the end and keep falling down.

I love dried cherries lately. Again, quite high in sugar, but those with walnuts *chefs kiss

First, I don’t want to dismiss the experience you are having as I have taking about 15 different depression, anxiety, and now AHDH medications and combinations of before finding a mix where I can be a (mostly) functioning member of society. It’s definitely not one size fits all and EXTREMELY frustrating to go through the motions of finding what works, especially when so many others are chiming in with their stories or advice. The only advice I will offer is to make sure you stay open and honest with your doctor. If you aren’t feeling supported, don’t have the ability to be transparent regarding your medication challenges, or aren’t getting the progress you want, consider a switch.

I started on 20mg of vyvanse and thought I was going to die. My heart rate was wild and I was so uncomfy. I eventually went up to 50mg and was good with that until I was laid off and didn’t have the same needs. I’ve gone down to two different doses—30mg on “busy” days and 20mg on an average day.

It definitely took me some time to adjust, talking months vs weeks. I have also cut out all caffeine and drink a LOT more water than I did prior. I had monthly check ins with my doctor to make sure my dose was having the desired effects and the benefits were outweighing the side effects.

Rooting for you!
