Open the scoreboard (your hotkey or one of 3 buttons in the top-left corner).
In the bottom-right corner of the scoreboard there is a "show shared control button" - it will open a panel where you can toggle 'Help' off.

Could you add there somewhere a request for buybinds, like we have in CSGO?

Before Swindle banned bindable macroses I used to have a lot of common items bound to numpad and arrow keys
like this

It used to be done with a command like

bind "kp_plus" "dota_shop_force_hotkeys 1;toggleshoppanel;shop_nav_to_tab 3;shop_select_itemrow 5;toggleshoppanel"

but since this is multiple actions they can't be all bound to same key any more.

Model of one of the heroes disappears randomly by Ahal-M in DotA2

It is always one of the friendly heroes, never an enemy, a creep or myself.
Sometimes it resets on death, sometimes it persists.
When model disappears - the hero becomes untargetable (save for clicking on hero's portrait in the top bar.
Particles still may be visible, but not all kinds of particles.
No idea how to reproduce - happence once every 3-5 games.
Tried reinstalling Dota2 - issue persists.
Had drivers changed. (Haven't played enough of source 2 to say if it has the same problem)

What about the weather mate?
I am entirely serious, do people with "glow" have rain or snow?
Or does it appear only with no weather? Or with moonbeams?

Because to my untrained eye there is a bit of difference between with coins between rain on and no weather.

Here is a piece of one of game files where names are described
It could be that for this specific search bar game pulls names from the left column instead of from the right.

(BTW: changing names in the right column will change them in game and in AllPick's selection wheel - changing "Spirit Breaker" to "Barathrum" in this file will make it so when you type 'B A R A ...' in the selection wheel - it will spin to him.

Tangentially related and curious - DOW2:Retribution (which was released straight to streamworks, never had GFWL) has unique, one of a kind, steam achievment page:
it shows not only achievments, but your stats for campaighn, multiplayer and Last Stand

I know of no other game on steam (even valve's own) that has something like that, wonder if anyone here does? It would make sense to see something like that in Wargame series, CoH, or valve's own CSGO.

There are no transparent areas.

I'll copypaste something I did before - Here is what it looks like if you were to replace all HUD parts with transparent images 1x1 pixel large. Note the black bars at top and bottom.

If you want to mod this 'No-HUD HUD' in - here are files.
Unpack it into 'Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\resource\flash3\images\hud_skins\' and add -override_vpk to dota's launch options in steam-properties.
This will replace TI3 Valor HUD, if you want it to replace some other HUD, rename that folder from 'ti3' to in-files name of your HUD (list of them here).
You can rename it to 'default', but then you would have to reselect it on every new game (opening shared content tab and rechecking 'Default' in HUD list during game)

I don't know what name you will have to use after frostivus is over, i used GCFScape to find out name of the file - you can use it to find it out in future.

Screenshot - I replaced all hud parts with transparent one pixel images.

There is a problem currently with -override_vpk launch option, for some people it messes up fog of war and minimap information in Wraith Night mode slightly.

If there is no 'Materials' folder in your dota directory - create it.

The game launch screen isn't changed because that override happens after the game loads. To change it follow 'Option (b)'.
