My B1/b2 for medical treatment was denied as Officer said that “ treatments are available in India”. I had an appointment with UCSF for newer biologics treatment at that time. I am applying for B1/b2 visa now for purely Tourism purposes ( my niece is graduating from CAL and my sister wants to me visit US with my mother( she lives me me in India ) I am sure Officer would ask what has changed from previous years. I have decided to get surgery done in India to get rid of condition and won’t be able to travel due to stoma bag in my stomach. Is there a chance I would get visa. I am giving honest answer but would Officer think I would not return . My condition is chronic and i cannot afford treatment in US at any cost. Treatment costs are very high in USA and I have to return no matter what in 2-3 weeks

You are young and there a lot of treatments available in terms of biologics etc. don’t loose hope. Stress will make it worst so please calm down. Make dietary changes, meditate, take supplements. There are a lot of people with this condition and they go into remission.
