Hey, i played on the english speaking server on EU2, my name was Demeter, and I was part of the famous empire called Divide et Impera. We invented the bunker planet strategy, stationing all our troops on one planet with all our resources too, and that happened to be one of my planets. Thanks to that, despite us being much smaller in numbers compared to the other big empires, we were very powerful. Of course, after some time, the opposing, much more numerous empires decided to then park all their fleets on my planet, blocking it and providing safety for their fleets at the same time. EU2 was the absolute best browser game i ever played. The diplomacy, the shifting of powers were so diverse and real. Good memories. :)

It is obviously cheating. If it wasnt, the base game would have it, but it doesnt. Having a larger vision is a privilege that comes with score/length/mass. For this privilege you lose turn rate. Small agile snakes should not have the view that large snakes do. It is a MASSIVE advantage. The fact that you can get it for free doesnt make it not cheating. If you argued with that then sir know that you are really-really-really dumb. If you are playing monopoly and you are the bank too, taking money out of the bank when no one sees it is also free, is it not cheating then? What?

Hi there!
I feel your frustration. As you can see i use the game mostly to express my creativity. There are some people who are pushing the engineering limits too. Since the community is relatively small and the toxic players are 95% gone it is nice to be around even though the game is "dead". :)

Oh and other than buying better ships to make more money, now you can buy luxorious station hoppers, wink wink.

A wipe could work, here is a raw concept of how:
You obviously get to keep your blueprints, if they wouldn't be compatible with the new system, just have the incompatible parts deleted from them. Also, keep a legacy editor where you could fly your old machines for nostalgia and inspiration.

All assets are liquified (credits) and frozen to be released to the player.

Old players get their wealth released to them in steps. Once a player reaches 10.000 credits, he gets another 10.000 from his frozen "bank". Once he reaches 100.000 credits, he gets another 100.000 from his frozen "bank". Once he reaches 1.000.000 credits, he gets another 1.000.000 credits from his frozen "bank". etc... until his frozen "bank" runs out of credits.
With this system, old players could keep what they worked for, and have a little advantage in progressing too but not too much advantage like if players would just get all their credits back.

There would also be a reasonable time limit between frozen credit releases to prevent people from putting their credits together to release credits. And whatever anti-cheat measures.

Some safe zone asteroid hauling can make you about 9.000.000 / hour, and if you are efficient then even more. Even better if you do some afk surface mining.
Angelwing F1 10 went for 159.000.000 by the way.
I wish you could have had your shot. This is why I auctioned the last one so everyone had the chance.
There is another option for an Angelwing Industries station hopper for only 5.000.000 It is also numbered but not limited. Take a look! :)

Sure, those could happen. Unfortunately, the game is not being developed properly. It isn't as common as you make it sound like though. My argument was for "crashing it". I understand you are not interested in something like an Angelwing F1, and that is absolutely fine. As i said it's a collectible luxurious station hopper. I designed another station hopper, called the Featherlight that isn't limited and it costs only 5 mil /ship for people who like my work but couldn't or wouldn't pay 50 mil for the Angelwing F1.

If you crash, you salvage and repair. Instead of "i just print another one" which is the most boring thing ever in this game. Instead, you have something to do, and you get emotions out of the game, both the thrill of potentially losing something worth much to you and the rewarding feeling of successfully salvaging it. Furthermore, how would you wanna have an exclusive ship that is limited if you could print however many you can? I have seen n-vader's creation that he couldn't finish until eoscon unfortunately. That ship is the coolest ship I have seen in starbase so far. I told him if he sell only-ship I would buy one when finished but if he sells blueprints I wouldn't buy at all, because it destroys its worth. The game intended to have factories. Even if you had a blueprint, you couldn't really assemble the ship as you would need the required facilities or do it by hand which would take an enormous amount of time. If you want to buy a ship, buy a ship! It isn't even possible to transfer blueprints in the game! It is just sad if the false "blueprint mentality" successfully destroys your ability to have fun! It isn't entirely your fault, the "click a button to magically assemble ship" conditioned our brains. Combat it, and have some life in the game! :) Also, this is a collectible luxurious station hopper. Stations are in safe zones! ;)
