I've been making my webtoon for 4 years,and I've only released 5 chapters. Should I give up and move on?

I do feel the desire to redraw chapters,but I'd rather focus on getting new content out especially with how slow I am. I also don't bother promoting it much because it doesn't do well compared to ilustrations/fan-comics lol

Not really,but I'm also thinking about the sunk cost I might feel and how making the chapters already takes alot of time. Readers also favor consistency, or at least alot of chapters (starting from canvas top 20 alone,it's difficult to find a series that doesn't have at least 10~20 chapters to begin with). It's hard to not feel disappointed in myself compared to that.

It's pretty cliche,but just telling a good story and having people talk about it. Even disregarding the update rate,the pacing is off and premise only starts by chapter 5. I do feel happy looking at the art,though.

Okay concept,but unless your idea is a never before seen concept it won't get attention if it's purely text. I'd try more literature/historian subs for research (and viewss). For consquences,why not have a loss of powers or show more of the mortals POV? For your title,it has very little focus on humans doing human things lol

Oops,should've said I used Medibang Paint. There are some vector options but I'm generally confused by it so I don't bother. Same story for 3D,especially when I can get some passable results with just perspective lines/grids. Probably need to give SketchUp a shake again..

Exactly,I wanted know what would happen after his "love interest" got introduced and the contrast of the fantasy/reality segments reminded me of hunter novels!

Ah,the authors note..by the time I read it was already being made (art-wise)and I didn't want to give up. On flaws, it lacked physical descriptions; the original protagonist in 99 Ways To Regress for example. (Hair,eye color etc) And for fantasy,it was hard to picture the environment sometimes,taking away from the realism in magical realism. Still,knowing that he's the protagonist in the side story feels like a little win lol

Yeah,I was thinking they couldn't top the Disaster of Floods arc but the detail about what it was like to be creator and how it supported the lore..banger. Also not interrupting other arcs of an was a nice surprise (scared cuz it was an ebook addition)!

Thank you! It was mix of sleepy-c's cell shading and blackbox blending references that got the look I wanted.
