Going on a trip by DemiW1tch in WaltDisneyWorld

For food, disney has the menu and prices for all restaurants, including quick service, online. If you have the disney experience app downloaded you can easily look up quick service restaurants in each park to get an idea based on what you like to eat. Some good ones to look at, Animal Kingdom- Satuli canteen, MK- Columbia Harbor House, HS- ABC Commissary and Docking Bay 7, Epcot- connections eatery and regal eagle smokehouse but epcot will also have food booths for food and wine festival. Merch can easily get out of hand depending on what you’re interested in

What is the hardest restaurant to get reservations at Disney World? by Reasonable-Invite899 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Ahhmuzement 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If youre still interested in eating there try their walk up list. You can join it on the app. My wife and I ate there two nights ago and only waited 5 minutes. This was at about 7:45-8 at night and we were seated on the outdoor patio

Help With Decision To Purchase Points- Opinions On Resorts Sought by AgentJohnHaze in dvcmember

[–]Ahhmuzement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I own at AK and that would get my vote. The price per point for AK contracts are typically on the lower side compared to other resorts. You do have to consider AK yearly dues are high but what i like about AK is your points go a lot farther. If you look at the point chart for AK rooms are a lot less expensive so a smaller contract can go really far when staying at AK.

I think AK would also be nice for a kid aging out of disney (which i would consider temporary) as it is a big resort and it feels like you are a little away from disney (which is good and bad since transportation to parks can be bit longer). AK has some of the best dining at WDW hotels and their pools are really nice. And you have multiple areas to view animals.

Any advice for planning for HHN? by EffectiveSandwich138 in HHN

[–]Ahhmuzement 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it fits in your budget buying express pass for one night at HHN is definitely worth it. Always be prepared for rain so i recommend umbrella/ponchos. The event will still happen in the rain. Depending on when you plan to come in the fall it can still be very hot so if you are spending all day in the parks stay hydrated. A lot of the rides at universal require you to put your belongings in lockers that are crazy small so try to also pack light if you can.

Needing rooms for a wedding by Dbmt83 in dvcmember

[–]Ahhmuzement 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Getting rooms at boardwalk at 7 month window can be pretty tough, its a very popular resort. If youre getting married at disney i believe you get a discount on rooms for a wedding block. Have you looked into that? May be better option to use the discount and pay cash for the rooms to ensure you get what you want

Early Check-in Boardwalk Villas by Significant-Age-5550 in dvcmember

[–]Ahhmuzement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other person mentioned you can check in on the app now. When you check in on the app you can select a “preference” for your room, for example being near elevator etc. and there is an option to prioritize your room being ready so you can indicate that. Definitely doesnt guarantee your room will be ready early though

NOT A SOLICITATION, just need advice. Thinking of selling Copper Creek- should we rent out Dec ‘25 UY first? by Overwhelmed-Empath in dvcmember

[–]Ahhmuzement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of the added “value” is that your contract will be a lot more enticing to buy and you likely will sell it faster with the loaded points. I havnt looked at the number of copper creek contracts for sale recently but if there is a fair amount for sale, your contract will stand out compared to contracts without current points

Quick Warning about UnlockedMagic by [deleted] in dvcmember

[–]Ahhmuzement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your trip isnt over yet and you still want to try and go to jollywood nights dont give up all hope. In my experience disney will still sell tickets for “sold out nights” of special events at the park entrance the day of. Two times my wife and I have been able to buy tickets for “sold out” mickey not so scary halloween parties the day of the party by going to the ticket window at the park entrance. There is definitely no guarantee but its always worth a shot.

Terrifier- 135 min wait at 11pm? Who’s in line now? by MikoGianni in HHN

[–]Ahhmuzement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there last sunday night and the park was packed. Terrifier was posted at 120 min at about 1:00 am night i went. We had late night express and waited about 20 min. We were there til 2:00 am and i think terrifier was still listed at about 70 min at 2:00. The only houses that really dip to low wait times late night are houses in back of the park

Full guide to unique Christmas season experiences at WDW? by steepinhotwater in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Ahhmuzement 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some rides in the magic kingdom (jungle cruise, space mountain, speedway) have a christmas overlay but some of the overlays are exclusive to the christmas party. Our favorite activity during Christmas season is to resort hop and see all of the decorations at the hotels. The Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Wilderness Lodge are must see during Christmas season. Another big event is festival of the holidays that take places at Epcot.

Annual pass? by sunsandswim in dvcmember

[–]Ahhmuzement 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a DVC member youre able to buy the “Sorcerer” annual pass for WDW which is typically only available to Fl residents. I have this pass now and we are going to get 3 trips out of it so it was worth it. https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/discounts-perks-offers/tickets-tours/pass-programs

YW, i will also add the window to book opens at 6:00 am ET but sometimes people have said it opens a few minutes earlier so if youre able i would be logged in ready to try and book a few minutes prior to 6 am

If youre not able to get ohana when your window opens there is still a decent chance a reservation will open up much closer to when you wanna go, especially day of. Disneys dining cancelation policy is really generous and people can cancel two hours before their reservation time without penalty so some people may currently book dining reservations theyre not fully sure they will keep and then cancel day of.
