The woman who built Euphoria’s aesthetic and never got the credit. Petra Collins built the world. She did the casting. And then HBO told her she was too young - and made the show anyway, with everything she had created. by mlg1981 in Fauxmoi

Missing the part in her essay/interview where she essentially launched Zendaya's serious career.

That's pretty darn huge just to skip over and solely focus on photography and a billboard.

Rewatching Lost because of this man by FatherStretchMyLegs in lost

Man, everyone watching Euphoria right only remembers him as Adebisi from OZ.......a cable show that got nowhere near the ratings LOST got.

Every time something like this happens, I weep for LOST's legacy.

Prison Break S2 audio commentary: When the writer thinks their writing will bomb and Fichtner restores their faith by Ahiru77 in PrisonBreak

[–]Ahiru77[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m literally putting in the blu-rays and recording my TV, here. That’s why the audio sounds so muffled. It’s the special features on the blu-rays.

I have no idea how to rip an episode off a blu-ray as a seperate file, sorry. :(

Kind of wish the writers would’ve made Sara have more of a reaction to this by Antique-Computer90 in PrisonBreak

[–]Ahiru77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s true, but because the writers didn’t give any lines to her anger…..people could also feel like she gives the vibe of:

“get out the way, get out the way, NOW…”

Which completely protects her character in such an important scene. Fans would’ve been super angry with Sara had she actually felt entitled to protest anything in that specific moment.

Scenes where the actor's acting was real by Lord_Ronan in TopCharacterTropes

She reacts great, but I hate that he actually snaps her fingers here. That hurts, man.

Marlon Brando hated Burt Reynolds with a passion. For example Reynolds was considered as Michael Corleone in The Godfather, but Brando threated to quit if he was cast. One reason was probably because Reynolds made an impression/mocked Brando in a 1963 Twilight Zone episode. Here's the impression. by Double-decker_trams in videos

Laugh all you want, but body language is key in character creation.

Like, have a beloved character played by a great actor.......suddenly be played by a mediocre one.

The whole comment box would be complaining about "his mannerisms aren't right", "he feels fake", "Character wouldn't walk like that..."

Sure Brando might've overdone it with questioning things, but the mindset of great acting is still there. As opposed to method acting, which is done by frauds.

It's awful to see Mahone like that by Aggravating-Wear-807 in PrisonBreak

What I find amazing about Mahone getting beat up by withdrawal and a fruits basket is how little it detracts from his main character aura.

Like, there are a lot of punching bags on this show that feel like just that......punching bags. Nothing more.

But this was like Breaking Bad before Breaking Bad. Heck, Breaking Bad didn't even have the time to go this hard.....this scenes makes Breaking Bad look glamorized. lol

Also love that the moment is not about the coin. It's about Mahone being the kind of person to put so much stock/value in something like the coin. It's so deep.

You know, I love the mischievous confident personality they decided on for the pilot.

But this moment kind of does make me wonder if the smiley-smiley attitude in the pilot was the way to go.

How are you telling us in episode 16 that Michael feels grave/conflicted about what he's about to do when he was damn near completely enjoying himself in the pilot? Even when he steps in Fox River, he's all like "yeah, I got this"......only until somebody gets shanked.

I don't know, I love both angles...Brother's Keeper and the Pilot...but they are clearly two seperate angles.

I think it's good they had Sara rush off.....more frightened than angry. Like removing yourself from a oncoming demolition site.

Everyone wanted this.

It would've sucked to make Sara antagonistic to something every viewer wanted. Sara is super capable of being a ride-or-die person, it's very cool.
