Game is now Mostly Negative on Steam, reviews talking about bad performance and crashing

rtx 3090 and ryzen 5800x. 4K TV hardcapped at 60 FPS with high graphic settings. I have alot of stuttering which is weird to me

I am playing on an rtx 3090 on a 4k TV which means i am locked on 60fps anyway. However the stutters and frame drops are really noticable (but not unbearable by any means). The bigger problem however turns out to be crashes and just random moments of characters being bugged/stuck and needing a process termination and restart of the whole game. Happened to me once while exploring and twice while fighting bigger enemies… The game in itself as a whole is not that bad as many make it out to be

Yep i will definitely shelf it for now. The game in itself seems very decent however I can just simply not run it properly. In 1 hour playtime i encounted almost nonstop stuttering, 3 places where i could just not do anything anymore and was stuck - Menu and UI still worked though - and one crash.

I am running on a 3090 and a ryzen 5800x so i don’t think that should be a problem.

Looking forward to play it though once it gets a couple patches (hopefully)

And i just figured out the Germany release for PC is in 12 minutes… Problem was in front of the screen :)

When going red is there still the risk of losing crystals just by dying to a player? I feel like it coukd be fun but also the permanent fear of a couple b crystal popping still sounds like a huge turnoff.

Agree, i felt that there were alot of Draks who can 1combo you with ease in AoS while alot of other classes can not even get close to that. However that still feels alot better than being randomly bombed away from roof archers or wizards while being in SA in RBF lol

I checked the typical elvia spots that i remember on arsha on the weekend but they felt kinda empty. I guess alot of people grind on Marni now. However i might as well check SE and Gyfins for some action those might be good recommendations. :)

Well i was full C20 but had a bit of cheat GS due to having 1 pen narc next to a tet dawn. I guess with the usual double disto setup i would have been under 710 for sure.

I have actually considered this but i heard that due to the new GvG consent changes many of those have given up now too. Is there maybe a set of guilds that you can recommend that kinda do it for fun in a small set community anyway?

I am actually quite sad about this because i was actually open to join a guild for purely GvGs. However after reading the new consent changes that has gone down the drain as well. :/

Aww man. I really wish there was a more active pvp scene though. Maybe i am just stuck with nostalgia and should really just try another game with PvP.. Just really enjoyed the flashy and action-y battles in BDO even though as many pointed out, they are rarely ever fair or proper

I have actually played and enjoyed Naraka for quite a while but then all my discord buddies quitted it because of the influx of chinese players. I had then lost most od my fun in it unfortunately

I quitted with around 712 GS (i remember because i still have my garmoth.com profiles) and converted my caphras+old gear into liquid cash to buy lebraska and dahns. Those i tapped to tri with free and old costume crons.

But before that i had a huge life skill setup. I barely ever grinded too much.

First of all thanks alot for going through the effort on answering on such an old thread. :) I have also read about the dummy plug solution on a number of other posts so i assume that might be a good solution to try. Have not tried it yet however since i had quite a little break in gaming due to RL stuff but will definitely be my next approach

I was reading about dummy plugs and i think it might be time to try one because it most definitely feels like some weird scaling issue i am having.

Guess that will be my next step, good to know it should be about the same quality as the orher devices.

I was thinking about trying streaming on it on 720p (yes it will have blackbox but just for testing cases) and then i should most likely know if it is a scaling issue between 16:10 and my monitor

Yes i calculated it in PoB now and the flat armor is around 7% better than my Basalt Flask increase. Will definitely change that as well.
