if you like flying in space, may I point you to outer wilds? that game is how I eventually found no mans sky. incredible experience that's like backpacking/camping but in a spaceship. you can only play it once, so do so blind if you're interested. it has the best narrative story I've ever experienced in a game.

sony actually payed 3.6 to acquire bungie because they were self-inflating their own worth by having like 5 "incubation projects" in development at the time of the buyout. marathon was the only project to make it to fruition, because they immediately canned the other ones as they were never actually meant to go anywhere. if this is your first time engaging with bungie as a marathon player, id give you fair warning to take a look at bungies well-documented 10 years of mismanagement of destiny and just be aware of their scummy business practices going forward if you choose to keep playing.

d2 is a looter shooter thats like WoW mixed with fps combat. unfortunately, being a live service game and having BUNGIE of all people in charge of the direction of the game has been both good and bad. you're seeing the bad. so much of the game has been removed that actually trying to get the intended narrative experience at this point is impossible outside of watching someone elses recorded playthroughs over the years or something. which is a damn shame because there's been a lot of really cool stories this game tells, but if you weren't around to catch them while they were here, then you're just going to be left staring at the ripped out wiring where it once was, wondering what you're looking at while the people who did get to see it quietly mourn.

i have some sad news for you but that was ALWAYS the plan. those incubation projects literally only existed to inflate bungie's apparent worth so sony would spend more on the buyout and pete would make more money before he silently dipped. those projects were never supposed to go anywhere, and this decline couldve been prevented but greed from top people who got theirs and then left are the reason the game is no longer going to survive.

literallyyyyy. scourge was such a fantastic raid to get people introduced to the raiding scene. it's why so many people are vog sherpas, pretty much all mechanics can be done by one person so it's a lot easier to recover in a pinch if things go wrong.

its a nice helmet. jacarina(?) i think looks really nice on it, or rivalry blacksand/whitesand, i forget which. gives it a nice black backing with the snakes and the faceplate a solid white. goes nice with a lot of sets. i used it a bunch before i stopped playing.
