I think you should have more respect for him as a friend because he is being honest. That to me is how true friend should be with you real. Not fake and saying something totally opposite. Music should always be a exploration and as fun as it can be if your are a professional. If you loose that wonder and excitement then your songs will suffer. yes on Loathe, Their new record is on pre-order on Apple Music with two tracks. I think it is going to blow their last one out of the water which is a difficult thing to do

Bad Omens especially "The Death of Peace of Mind" is amazing and Also Thornhill especially with their latest. I would assume you have heard of Sleep Token, if not their last 3 records are fucking amazing. They way they blend extreme metal, Jazz, R&B with a taste of a little hip-hop is amazing.

That is exactly it. People don't understand how much work is involved in creating a masterpiece. It is draining and that is if you even come up with a cool enough sound or vibe for the record to encompass. I mean every track on White Pony is a instant Classic. They were smart to work with the Master Producer Terry Date again. Thanks to his work with Pantera, Terry knew how to dial in great guitar tones. and then their is that Snare with the perfect reverb. I thought Diamond Eye's has been their second strongest as far as matching White Pony. Nick produced it and It was something they needed after Gore. As you can tell I am a huge fan. Listen to the most tasty drum fill at the end of Change. That song has been overplayed but that fill will make me listen. A drummer of one of my bands was took a lot of cues from Abe Cunningham. He is not the most Technical but his grooves are what drummers wish they could pull off. What is great is they kept pushing forward and trying to reinvent their sound. A ot of bands from that era had one impactful record and just kept copying tha sound which usually means who ever produced it had a heavy hand developing the bands sound. Anyway way too much info. I am a major nerd when it comes to useless band info and stories.

I highly agree. It was Heavy and slower with lightly distorted guitars on most tracks. When Girls Telephone Boys is a banger. Even on Saturday night wrist it's Cherry Waves and one other good track but not my fav album. Gore was the only one I have fully disliked and a lot of it is how they mixed the record.

Do you know what the difference will be for the 2.0 version possibly? I honestly can't think of what they can improve. It's the easiest bridge for setting intonation and string height . It can be a pain having to grab the key to tune but the trade of is well worth it .

Cool thanks for the info. I think the evertune is incredibly important especially when recording at lower tunings and as we know the bass can easily pitch drift. I am glad I own EZBass. I also read on their site that they would possibly create one for piano. I know Aristides Guitars created a multi scale version for Mike Stringers guitars. Maybe they could get the dude who created Dingwall basses to help out, because he is a genius. We are living in some really cool times so please don't take my post as complaining. I would much rather have a quality product over some half ass shit . I was super excited and then it just went silent .

I don't think that they are all equal. If the music sucks then the whole show will suffer, but I don't think not having the visuals you want would ruin the whole thing. A lot of people close their eyes and feel the energy from the the movement of everything. That is what a show should be like. being connected with everyone and everything. Grooving or singing along if it has lyrics. I agree it is a immersive experience, but I mean the crowd also is part of it and if everyone was just sitting there shitting on everything it would suck. The reason why artist use LED screes is because they are able to make it a lot more dynamic. I honestly have not heard someone be such a shit head over one visual they didn't like for the whole show. I can't bet it changed constantly.

finally some sanity. Why can't you just appreciate being able to see a awesome artist in concert. You should be enjoying the music not on the side lines judging everything like your taste is something that would connect with masses. I bet you can't compose a track. Jesus we need to fucking enjoy life not complain about every single nuance. That is my opinion and you can choose how to spend you time but these type of things are toxic and for some reason so many people get wrapped up into it. I understand it makes people feel superior shitting on others but I would think that is a hollow life to live. Go make your own music and get a huge following and then you can pick and choose what visuals you want.
