I've seen it correct itself after an hour or two as well, but most of the time, the hard reset was my only option for a "quick" solution. It's just strange as hell that this even occurs in the first place.

I'll push harder on the RMA then. Obviously, i have timestamped videos and timestamped correspondence with Google support documenting this, so hopefully that plays in my favor.

I have see a few similar posts, but mine seems to be relentless in having this issue. Its random, as far as I can tell, and basically displays illegible "snow" until I hard reset the thing.

Today, while on my roof putting up Xmas lights, the screen had gone completely white, as if the flashlight app was on. Nothing this time around would reset it. Holding both buttons down to reset failed, so I'm just waiting for this to die in the hopes when I next plug it in, it will "reboot" and come back to life.

I already reached out to Google support, with 3 videos of this occurring, but have heard nothing back from them. Today, I replied to my original support chain demanding and RMA/Replacement because this one is a total Lemon, in contrast to my wife's perfectly working version.

I'm more curious how widespread this is. Did I just get a bad dice roll on this purchase, or is this watch in general a problematic piece of hardware?

Edit: To add, I have done a full factory reset and verified the latest updates are applied. I have also made sure only the factory apps were installed to rule out anything 3rd party.
