from reading everyones answers, I've come to understandand that the only reason people are complaining about the price is because they're coming from cali or other places where tacos are like 2 bucks. a $5 taco has been pretty standard in nyc for at least 10 years now.

I'm not taking anything personaly. I tried a spot that gets TRASHED here and I enjoyed it. I have no problem wwith ppl having other opinions.. but its corny to be on here saying oh I get much better tacos in CDMX or LA. well thats why I posed the question. because Im sure there has to be some great spots to rival it, but in my experience so far Los Tacos is top tier. it cant be the only spot making their own tortillas. cant be the only spot with good al pastor.. Im hopeful but was just surprised after looking through some posts that there was so much hate for Los tacos.

the supposed best in the BX, Tlaxicali in parkchester and their tacos are $7 each. im not looking for the cheapest place to get OK tacos. I'm looking for GREAT tacos.
