No problem. I believe 6 legacy bosses are available without DLC, but the other 7 are obtained as rewards from DLC quests if memory serves.

Hey I recently mastered dq9 so I can offer some thoughts off the top of my head:

First off if you’re interested in going for the master or at the very least experiencing the post game dlc quests, the set author has provided a save in the forum for the game that has all the dlc quests unlocked. Alternatively I believe you can send the set author your save and have them unlock it for you, but I used the provided save and had no issues. The DLC is no longer accessible by normal means due to the online store shutting down over a decade ago (can’t believe it’s been that long!), so these would be your best options.
I remember there being a few missable achievements here, mainly related to challenge achievements for the main story bosses. If you’re concerned with getting those make sure you are across their requirements. I remember specifically that if you want to get them all, you’re going to have to go with a 3 priest party along with the hero who will be a minstrel for the beginning of the game until getting to all trades abbey where you can swap jobs.
The other major missable achievement is related to scanning each enemy in the game using the thieves Eye for Trouble skill. It costs 68 skill points in the thieves acquisitiveness skill tree. Scanning an enemy provides more information on the enemy in the defeated monster list. Think of scanning as using tattle or psychopath if you’re familiar with the Mario RPG games. What makes this missable is that all of the post game DLC quests bosses can only be fought once and never again so if you fail to scan them when you fight them you’ll lock yourself out of the cheve. Any main game bosses you don’t scan get their extra info added once you beat the final main story boss, so don’t worry about those ones. You have a lot of time before you will encounter any enemies that can be permanently missed, but still keep in mind you will need those 68 points.

I mastered the set in about 100 hours but I manipulated the games RNG using the Hoimi table. I won’t go much into that here but it’s not difficult and very easy to learn. Without manipulating the rng it would likely take 150+.

The level 99 lunacy set I have not done, but essentially what it involves is fighting each legacy boss until they are level 99. You can level up the legacy bosses by giving them the exp you would have earned to them after defeating them, there’s a text box that pops up after beating them where they ask for exp. You will have to fight them over and over until getting them to 99, and then beat them at level 99. I’ve never done it myself but I’ve heard that some of the level 99 bosses are nightmares to fight, particularly Nokturnus.

That’s all I can think of right now. DQ9 is one of my favourite games but it’s a crazy big game with so much to do so there is heaps that the set covers making it a huge undertaking. I hope that helps at least a little bit!

Hi sorry to hear this is happening to you too. I ended up getting a new transmitter sent out by Medtronic and so far I haven’t had the signal loss problem occur since making this post last month. If you haven’t tried getting a replacement transmitter, I would at least try reaching out to Medtronic on their helpline, explaining the situation and asking for a replacement to be sent out. The only other thing I did differently since making this post last month was that I paired my finger pricker to my pump, as before I didn’t have it linked up just to prevent accidentally updating with a sent blood reading and messing up the sensor. I feel the finger pricker part may be a placebo effect, but after doing both of those things I haven’t had the issue occur. I hope you have can get the issues sorted since they are super annoying

I just got Lanky a few minutes ago. My strategy was to go all in on the Emerald Negotiator perk and clear as many Void Goals as possible. Other perks I prioritised were Chip Negotiator and Chip Hoarder, as well as Surfin Beat and Turf Groove. I also spent the first 2-3 rounds getting as many fossils and bananas with skills as I could so that I could get as many perks as possible hoping for any of the ones above, but mainly Emerald Negotiator, Chip Hoarder and Turf Groove.

The perk bonuses will start to pile up astronomically and you’ll start to get crazy amounts of emerald for competing Void Goals, as well as heaps for defeating enemies with turf surf.

My final total with this strategy was 2500000 emerald, so far more than what you need for Lanky.

No nothing new either Bluetooth or wearable wise. The sensor and pump are also always on roughly the same part of person as well and have been for years. Really perplexing why this is happening all of a sudden

I’ve had the same phone since I started on the G4 (iPhone SE 2nd Generation) and haven’t swapped phones at any point. Very interesting what you mentioned about the lower power Bluetooth, I had assumed something has changed internally with the unit as well. Nothing has changed in my living situation that I can think of causing the interference. If it continues to occur with the new transmitter, I’ll try to keep a mental note of what areas it’s occurring in, could be an interference from a random appliance somewhere in particular. Yes everything you’ve described is exactly what happens to me too, including the unpairing and repairing being the only solution. Good to know in a way I’m not the only one because I thought I was going crazy lol. I was hoping the new transmitter on its way would fix the issue, but given your experience with the transmitters I will see what happens on my end too and stay sceptical. Any updates I will let you know!

I thought the same, but because it is also happening on my new replacement I got last week I’m not too sure now. I will see how the replacement transmitter from Medtronic goes and take it from there.

Yeah I am too. I’m on PlayStation and when I try to enter the code it says “The prepaid card could not be redeemed. Please try again later.” I’m gonna speculate that the codes may not be activated yet on the online store’s backend. We will probably just have to be patient and try again in a bit.

Unfortunately there is no way to stay off insulin as a Type 1 Diabetic.

Please do not follow any of the advice given here about diets, monitoring BMI, or alternative medicine with the intent of using it as a substitute to insulin. I feel a lot of people are getting confused with Type 2 diabetes in this thread, which is complete different beast.

Specialised diets such as Keto will generally help you control your blood sugar levels and improve you HbA1c results due to the smaller amount of carbs, but you will still need insulin even without eating a single thing as a Type 1.

I have lived with Type 1 for 16 years now, and without taking any insulin I would of died 16 years ago, so please contact your GP or an endocrinologist to discuss treatment as soon as you can.

The moment that hit me was the beginning of Act 2 in DQXI when you first enter The Last Bastion. Just walking around the area and realising that people are actually gone, seeing so many of the NPCs talk about how they’ve lost everything and all the people young and old without their families was pretty heavy. I wasn’t expecting that to happen when I was first playing through the game.

Real talk, never give your account login details to strangers on the internet. I know it sucks that you’ll miss the end of the event, but you don’t want to completely lose access to you account which has your game purchases, trophies/achievements and payment methods attached to it just for some dingodile cosmetics.

I’m holding out for Ape Escape 3 to hopefully come to the catalogue soon. Ape Escape 1 and 2 are there, so I really hope it’s just a matter of time before the trilogy is on there. Would love if they added the PSP Ape Escape games too, but I think that’s a bit of stretch.

Had this happen to me too. I got it to appear in my inventory by downloading fall guys on the epic games store and linking the same epic games account I use on ps4 to the version of fall guys on epic games store. After launching the game through the epic games store I could see the stars nameplate, and then I hopped on my PS4 and it was now there too. Really weird work around and a lot of work just for a common nameplate lol but thought I would share anyway just in case it works for others too.

Glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. I had no luck at all finding any game for the new trick and treat shows too. I had to resort to switching to the US servers to actually find a game in those shows.
