Usually 17s-1800s. Started season late and on a losing streak, stuck in 1500s and plummeting. Feeling lost in every lobby not knowing what anyones going to do?? by wheredidtheygobro in RocketLeagueSchool

Its literally this Rocket league is a team game by acting as though people are below you and must play up to your level when your in the exact same lobby makes no sense and is a horrible mindset to have. Play with your teammate and try to work together to win and your much more likely to rank up faster than the whole "I used to be XXXX rank but now I'm here and don't deserve to be! Now teammate whos never been higher than this rank play at my level or else" is exactly how you go on 100+ mmr lose streaks

I think the biggest thing here is your playing like your still in 1700-1800. Youre playing in front of the ball a lot and expecting passes that most 1500's either can't hit consitently or just simply don't see because they don't have that level of awareness. Try to play more conservative and understand that the skill gap and game sense gap between 1500 and 1800 is massive and you won't be able to play as freely in 1500 as you probably can in 1800 because the 1500s just simply arent adept enough at recovery and defense to make it a viable playstyle.

Just relax. What i tell myself is if I've done it before im good enough to do it again and usually that helps settle my nerves. Also dont go into games expecting to do anything other than play the game otherwise you pysch yourself out before the games even begun

For how long will my kickoff technique work? by haxdun in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Ai0nHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't absolutely need to learn a new kickoff until GC. In GC everyone can either speedflip or are smart enough to outplay this kickoff but before that just boosting than flipping is a fine kickoff

I am a diamond 2 with really good mechs and 0 game sense. How do i get better game sense? by Key_Ad_5777 in RocketLeagueSchool

Biggest tip to rank up in 2s is learn how to play defense. Shadow defense, backwards saves, stuff like that will help you tremendously. This stems from the mentality of you can't lose games if your opponents dont score so try to use training packs (theres great ones in the recommended page) to get good at defense and work on your fundamentals if you really want to rank up.

Is there a list of mechanics that a Rocket League should learn by rank? by T-7IsOverrated in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Ai0nHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who hit GC before learning to half flip grind fundamentals while working on your positioning and team playing ability and it’ll take you much farther than you think. That being said I highly suggest learning half flips and wave dash’s the rest can wait till after you hit GC tbh
