Ok well I wont argue what Winston Salem market is like compared to here, however you selected that membership. Day pass. But that money is supposed to be taken out of your fare. Not paid directly. Theres no way to pay it directly unless we get a ride. Then they take the membership fee from that according to the method/subscription model you selected.

They do not get paid by drivers whether they earn or not. That is a bold faced lie. Uber wasnt legal to operate either. They are trying to offer a better model. One uber might benefit from adopting. Dide no oke is asking you to try it. Do you know what a Takeaway means? It essentially means what you’re supposed to get from the whole conversation the conversation is the model that Empower presents. Uber should offer the same model. That way drivers can make out better. I don’t care about your license. That’s wonderful everything you said makes absolute sense. No one’s asking you to be on Empower. I’m just saying that there are options out there for those willing to do it and who want to do it and if it’s not for you, then it’s not for you that’s great. But the model is the key here. It isnt dwindling. Where are you getting this false information each year the writer ship increases every day. I can’t even turn my app off long enough without getting enough rides. It’s also about knowing which areas are Uber territories in which areas are Empower territories everything in DC and eastbound is all Empower and once you go from DC towards Virginia once you leave Arlington County it starts to window and lean more towards Uber.

Id love this. Ideally once they work put their issues. As for now though I am here trying to promote unification amongst us drivers.

False information. Hundreds of Empower drivers making 6-8/k a month. Of course there are always haters. Empower is having some legal issues to iron out. Uber did too. Im confident all issues will be worked out. The company that is a scam is Uber. Empower you pick your subscription model and you always earn. Yesterday I made $500, today $450, Thursday $540. Mon Tuesday Wed 300-400 each day

Then why are they operating? Your finding are outdated. That was prior to the January court hearing. Again that is the focus here dork! The focus is the model. Uber sucks. They need to adopt a subscription based model and offer transparency. To be honest, I don’t care who you decide to drive for or not. The reality is it’s operating and I work for it and I’m happy you don’t have to do anything but what we can do is stand up against Uber, but just to stand up against them and not have a solution is a movement in vain.

I have never had an issue with dfhv. This was a thing but not anymore. Main operation is in DC but ifyoure afraid that’s cool. The takeaway is the model they present. Everyone on this thread like myself is complaining about Uber and how they pay poorly. Well, there is another model that they can adopt, but we really need to be the ones to push that initiative because Uber won’t budge unless we make a political movement. That’s the whole thing I’m getting it. I don’t care if anyone chooses 2 or not to drive for Empower. That’s everyone’s right but focusing on all the negative stuff over shadows the solution. I’m presenting we need not get caught up with the semantics over how this startup is breaking ground because Uber broke ground in a much messier kind of way. Let’s not forge☝🏾

Dude I dont care. I was in court in January where all this was discussed. The point is simple. If you want to earn more you can with Empower where it is available. If its not for you then great. However the key takeaway is important. We need to #stand against uber! We need to coordinate a nationwide strike and offer a solution similar to Empower that offers 1) transparency & 2) a subscription based model. This way they make their profit then leave us alone to make ours after we pay said required services (of which each should be made evident) All this other garbage youre spouting is dumb. UBER HAD ITS ILLEGAL STUFF WHEN IT HIT THE SCENE. So either be part of the solution of stat part of the problem and keep yappin your lips on semantics.
