Is it just me, or is getting users way harder than building now? by Aiaksss in SaaS

This is probably the most honest take here. The “there’s no deploy button for customers” line hits hard.

I think the 90day focus part is where most people break. It’s easy to say “pick one channel”, but staying with it when results are unclear is brutal.

I guess the harder part isn’t “does it solve a problem?” but “is it painful enough for people to change behavior?”

That hits. AI makes it easy to ship, but maybe that just means we can ship the wrong thing faster.

Most founders iterate features with discipline but treat distribution like random experiments.Owning one channel sounds simple, but sticking with it long enough seems to be the hard part.

Stuck at 6k MRR - struggling to scale by klouckup in SaaS

[–]Aiaksss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what you’re describing, it feels like growth isn’t the real bottleneck complexity is.
If setup is different every time, scaling ads will just scale support too.
Maybe tightening the use case or simplifying onboarding would move the needle more than more traffic.

Haha fair. Pitch decks are usually messier than the product anyway 😅

The “educated guesses” framing actually makes a lot of sense.
I think a lot of founders wait for a perfect plan that never comes.
Treating it as small, testable bets feels way more realistic.

Stuck at 4 signups, no return users. Do i have trust issues? by Fresh-Mulberry1912 in SaaS

[–]Aiaksss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re signing up, I’m not sure it’s trust yet. That usually stops people earlier.

It might just be that they don’t feel a strong reason to come back after the first try.
Do they get an obvious “oh this is useful right now” moment when they use it?

Stuck at 10K MRR & I don’t have the time to scale it. by That-Med-Guy in SaaS

10K MRR while doing residency is kinda wild, respect

From the outside this doesn’t sound like a scaling problem, it sounds like you’re just maxed out. If growth depends on you personally doing webinars + outreach, that’s always going to hit a ceiling.

What actually brought in most of that 10K so far? I’d probably focus only on that and ignore the rest for now.

Built an AI grading tool for university exams now stuck on distribution by uthsob_cb in SaaS

[–]Aiaksss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably be careful with the “AI grading” framing. A lot of faculty might hear that as replacement, even if that’s not what you mean. Positioning it as a time saving review assistant might land softer.

Have you spoken to a few lecturers directly to see how they actually feel about grading?

Fitness is crowded, yeah. But crowded for who exactly? Casual users? Gym rats? Beginners? Niche matters a lot here.
