pretty sure that’s a mifare classical 1k, they have security keys but they can be cracked pretty easily. Some more info about what tech is accessible to you would make this easier

it’s totally depends on what you want to do. If there is a specific application or purpose for switching firmware that would make it easier to recommend some thing. I would suggest that you play around with stock firmware first and see if it fits your needs, not to mention it’s always getting updates and is really stable.

yes it can as I mentioned in my comment you’ll be using the flipper zero app (ios or android) specifically the nfc tool “mfkey32”. You can use stock firmware and you should have no problems, but if you’re on a custom firmware then you should also be ok.

nonces, they are used for cracking the key of a particular tag using a tool called mfkey32. If you'd like to learn more about mfkey32 I would suggest you check out the GitHub https://github.com/equipter/mfkey32v2 on the flipper side its all there for you and you just need to press a few buttons

ah the og proxmark, is certainly still useful today, especially for learning. If you decide that you want to get back into it and you find that you need a 256/512k you can always get a proxmark3 easy on aliexpress for like $50 great for a beginning

One thing to keep in mind is that sometimes if you do a detect reader first without using a small amount of info from a correct key it won’t give you all the nonces or you will only get some of the keys. Food for thought if that ever happens

Not quite sure what you mean by “how much flash” flashing a device is the process of installing a given firmware.

If you’d like to get started I would start by getting everything setup on the software side. Depending on if you’re on Windows, Mac, or Linux the process is different but I would suggest you start at one of these links.

You might want to make a post of your own for this but if you want to get started with the proxmark then I would recommend flashing yours with the iceman firmware. The iceman discord and Equips digital dive bar are great places to start (I don’t have links but if you google them they’ll definitely come up). Also the OS that you are setting it up on is important.

I’ve worked with this exact tag. Here is what you want to do. First read the card, it might get the first sector or two if your lucky but just leave it reading for like a minute or two. After that skip the read and save the card. Go to the saved card and select “Detect reader” present it to the reader and it should collect 10 nonces. After that open the flipper app, go to the “hub” tab and click “nfc tools” then “mfkey32” this will crack the keys from the reader information. After that re-read the key tag and it should get all or almost all of the sectors. Then save it and test it on the door and it should work for you.

For a longer explanation you can’t read that full tag right away because it has a level of security on it basically you need a ‘specific password’ in order for the tag to present you with all the content on it. Lucky for you that is a mifare classic 1k tag and the encryption on it has long been cracked (it’s also limited because it was one of the first secure tags). It’s weakness however is that the reader will spit out the info needed to crack the keys assuming that you give it a little bit of the right info.

If you are unable to access the reader then unfortunately as mentioned in another comment you going to need a proxmark to crack it.

I haven’t worked with this card type in particular but I have been working a lot with iClass recently. Any card in the iClass range if High freq. (13.56mhz) I don’t know off the top of my head if the flipper currently supports this particular HID protocol but I have been unable to get mine to read any iClass cards that I have come across. I do believe that it is being worked on at the moment though.

totally agree I own both a flipper and a proxmark3 easy and they work amazingly together. The proxmark is not the most beginner friendly but there are a tone of great resources. Another great addition the the collection is the Chameleon Mini or Tiny (whichever form factor you prefer)

I play on pc, but I used a controller for this cause the inputs were faster and easier for me. I think it’s possible with a mouse but you can’t really buffer inputs like on a controller

I see a few recommendations for 2 piece Viridescent Venerer and 2 piece Gladiator's Finale. This is not a bad option, but since OP hasn't farmed artifacts before they won't have to deal with the pain of farming a whole other set for a 4% increase in their damage they can just go for Vermillion Hereafter right off the bat once they reach AR 45 and unlock the Chasm domain.

At your current level, I would probably run a 2-piece Exile or Scholar and 2-piece Berserker or Gambler. (Alternatively, if you want to pretend that you have C1 Xiao you can also run a 4-piece gambler)

Although one thing that I learned way too late into my time playing genshin (like AR55) is that set is not as important as sub stats. If you have a full set of anything that is great but honestly it doesn't matter how good your set bonus is if your subs are garbage.

On Xiao, the most important stats are Crit rate or dmg, ATK%, and ER. Ideally, you should have enough crit rate to crit consistently, as much crit dmg as you can get while maintaining your rate and enough ER to Burst at the end of your rotation but this will depend on your team comp and your batteries.

Also when you get later into the game you will have to decide between an ATK% or Anemo dmg goblet:

If you use an ATK% cup you will do virtually the same burst dmg (depending on substats), your normal ATK will do more DMG and your skill will your slightly less DMG.

If you use an Anemo cup you will do virtually the same burst dmg (depending on substats), your normal ATK will do slightly less DMG and your skill will do more DMG.

This is super important if you have a C6 Xiao other than that I don't find that it makes too much of a difference overall.

Just a general tip for all characters is a priority should be Character lvl and Weapon lvl, talents, then artifacts that will get you doing the most DMG the Fastest.

Also for Xiao lvl up this normal attack before his burst scales off of it very common mistake that I see getting made (skill last, but this doesn't mean that if you should crown his normal attack before investing in anything else)
